Kokatat Blog - Since I've been a sea kayaker, guide, and instructor in the Gulf of Alaska for the last 15 years, I'm keenly aware of the marine debris pollution crisis impacting our shorelines. I'm now spearheading a Community Marine Debris Cleanup of Shuyak Island State Park in cooperation with the NOAA Marine Debris Program and the State of Alaska.
