Bama Boys Bama Boys: More Bama Boys in Colorado: Part 3
Lot of rapids and a few flat stretches spread throughout the run make Big South a long day by most people's standards. Including the mileage on Weird Creek it is a twelve-mile run, but very rewarding, especially for groups like ours scouting their way down for the first time.
Fraser Valley WW Fraser Valley WW: Clendinning Creek 2009
Even though we did a lot more portaging and the stress level was higher than expected, this was still a great trip. The entire trip is filled with some of the most scenic views I've ever seen in British Columbia. There were thousand foot cascading waterfalls surrounding us in almost every direction at any given time. With a little less water the rapids would have been much slower and easier to pick apart.

The Stikine was pretty high, and we were hoping it would drop during the week. So while we were waiting, the decision was made to paddle around Terrace. I had no idea how many great creeks and rivers are around Terrace. Most of the paddlers just travel up to run the Stikine or stay around Whistler or Vancouver Island area.

Wilderness Systems Wilderness Systems: Paddle-Fishing.Com Tournament Series Event #2 Final Results
The day started off very nice with a little wind and nice incoming tide but eventually the fish won out with a pretty slow fishing day for all. There were no slams caught and in total only 4 redfish and 9 snook were caught by 45 anglers using whatever lure they wanted to. The top three slam winners took home cash and their choice of a Wang Anchor, a print from Finatic Designs or a Polar Bear Cooler.
