LiquidLore LiquidLore: Upper Ryan: Fall's The Season
You might have the conception that the fall is often a dismal time to kayak, at least where natural river flows are concerned. It's not true, there's always something out there to paddle - some great stuff appears when the water starts to go away.
Mike Dawson Mike Dawson: Uganda.
From Zambia we headed north to the equator line, and the white nile. The source of the worlds longest river. We were coming here for a few weeks of freestyle kayaking, some relax, and the nile river festival.
Fraser Valley WW Fraser Valley WW: Boat Review: Dagger Axiom
The Axiom is long compared to the standard set by today's boats. I have heard it referred to as a remake of the RPM, a Dagger classic that was discontinued last year with a limited number available for 2009.
Palm Blogs Palm Blogs: 10 years on…
When I was 15 I ran the top drop on the Gamlan (at very low levels). 10 years later, I was lucky enough to find good water levels and sunshine on the same day; so donned my shiny kit to run the river with nostalgic memories of Topos and Schlegels.
Axel Schoevers Axel Schoevers: Surfing at Whitesand's
We drove down to Pembrokeshire for a weekend of surfing. I brought over my Mega Neutron surf kayak to try out in 'proper surf'. Barry is trying-out his recent acquisition, a wave ski. Justine has a Valley Storm to try. Phil is boarding. So a lot of toys for in the surf.

Every Year the Tyne Tour attracts hundreds of kayakers from all over the UK, for two days of paddling and to enjoy the now legendary annual Ceilidh.
Kayak Angler Magazine Kayak Angler Magazine: FISH TALE: Unbelievable sailfish fight
I failed to reel in my second pole, however, and I would live to pay for that mistake. I put the pressure on and he started towing me and actually spun my boat around at least 360 degrees. That's where the other line got twisted around my main line.
ICF ICF: Wildwater Goes Down Under for the 2009 ICF Wildwater Canoeing World Cup
Tasmania recently played host to the 2009 ICF Wildwater Canoeing World Cup, which concluded on November 7th. Wildwater Races are individual time trials down sections of rivers containing difficult rapids. Specially-designed kayaks and canoes are used to negotiate the natural features of the river: rapids; rocks; tight corners; and waves; in order to find the fastest route down.
Kokatat Blog Kokatat Blog: Mayor's Cup Race recap
"90 more minutes, Mike!" Every 5 minutes for the last 2 hours I was shouting the estimated remaining time to the finish towards Mike, my partner in the double kayak in this year's Mayor's Cup, a 29 Miles kayak race around the Big Apple.
