LiquidLore: Upper Ryan: Fall's The Season You might have the conception that the fall is often a dismal time to kayak, at least where natural river flows are concerned. It's not true, there's always something out there to paddle - some great stuff appears when the water starts to go away.

Mike Dawson: Uganda. From Zambia we headed north to the equator line, and the white nile. The source of the worlds longest river. We were coming here for a few weeks of freestyle kayaking, some relax, and the nile river festival.

ICF: Wildwater Goes Down Under for the 2009 ICF Wildwater Canoeing World Cup Tasmania recently played host to the 2009 ICF Wildwater Canoeing World Cup, which concluded on November 7th. Wildwater Races are individual time trials down sections of rivers containing difficult rapids. Specially-designed kayaks and canoes are used to negotiate the natural features of the river: rapids; rocks; tight corners; and waves; in order to find the fastest route down.

Kokatat Blog: Mayor's Cup Race recap "90 more minutes, Mike!" Every 5 minutes for the last 2 hours I was shouting the estimated remaining time to the finish towards Mike, my partner in the double kayak in this year's Mayor's Cup, a 29 Miles kayak race around the Big Apple.
