Fluid Blog Fluid Blog: Nepal Photo Update!
We ran everything, not sure if the rocks have moved in a section or the water was different. Pretty terrorising canyon with just two paddlers in there, no room for error.
CKS Squad CKS Squad: Costa Rica: The Goods Part I
Immediately below is a drop that hasn't been run yet, and probably will be. The scout from the top showed ugliness, so we hiked up and over the steep canyon wall, then roped the boats back down the other side for our first Costa Rican portage. At the bottom I'm overheating in my shorts, long sleeve rash guard and drytop. I brought the lightest gear I own and it's too much, although this ends up being the warmest river corridor of the trip.
WWTCC WWTCC: More winter testing.
Despite the bitterly cold whether, I'm sure it must have been -5 on the water! The testing of the New Pyranha Molan continues. The boat has reached it's 5th incarnation and is now in it finally pre production prototype stage, these boats have shrunk a fair bit as they are the first from the mold and the hull of the boat has been changed a smidgen to allow it to release quicker.

During a 6 week journey to the Kimberly Wilderness of Western Australia, me and eight other people will raise awareness to fight the proposed industrialization of this pristine region. Shane's Logic Shane's Logic: The Liquidlogic Coupe Series: Sit On Top Kayaks
The idea for the development of these boats was to use the success of the Remix XP concept, and design a sit on top kayak with the same versatile features. The Coupe series has the same simple retractable skeg system as the XP, a similar hull design with stability and ease of use as the main features, and comfort as the thing that keeps you coming back to this kayak.

Changes in jobs, challenges on the race courses and quite a bit of travel sums up 2009. Racing highlights of the year were racing K2 with Cyndi at the Run of the Charles and the Clinton.
Kokatat Blog Kokatat Blog: Bryce's Kayak Fishing Year in Review
I was really lucky to not only catch my personal best sturgeon but the biggest fish I've ever caught on a kayak period. It was an amazing fight that had it jumping completely in the air well above my head at one point.
Werner Werner: Werner Paddles Supports The Portage to Portage Paddling Project
"It's Not Really About Me - It's About the Water. It's about you and all the people along the route, and anybody else that cares to listen. " I think this quote is an amazing way to bring you up to speed on who Jake Stachovak is and what the Portage to Portage Paddling Project is all about.
