Kokatat Blog: Kokatat Family in Chile Chile is amazing! Wonderful people and great whitewater has really made Chile a great experience. So far we have been able to get on a lot of rivers and waterfalls. I flew in with Chris Shehab and spent a fair amount of time buying a truck. Once we finished up buying a vehicle in Santiago we headed to Pucon to pick our kayaks up from Ian Garcia at Lakes Rivers & Oceans.

Jackson Kayak: Pikey sends in this update from Scotland! Excitement was running through my blood the moment I got invited for a week in Scotland, I've always told people Scotland is the best part of the UK even though in my 24 years of living I had never been.

Immersion Research: Mexico!!! Aaron Koch Sends Us Some Teasers From South of the Border! After kayaking with Ben Lediwitz (center) Sunday afternoon he filled me in on Rogers Sweater party. The picture above of Roger, Ben and Ben displays the influence of Holiday Spirits. Clearly the sweater party was a success and Roger is doing well. Happy Holidays from IR.

Tony Paradise: Top 10 paddles of 2009 - #1 Harbour Mille, departure point Well, so far I've identified 9 fantastic paddles I was involved in during 2009. I could easily have expanded the list but 10 is a good round number. The list included a bit of everything so it captures the flavour of my paddlng season.

The Lake is the Boss: Lake's up and we're heading north Despite dire predictions, including from me, Lake Superior continues to rise . There was talk that the dredging in the St Mary's river north of Detroit was draining the lake and that global warming and its accompanying lack of ice cover had speeded up winter evaporation, but the lake inexplicably keeps rising.

homemade kayaks: lost comment The fact is that I dont get too many comments and so everyone that I do get is very much appreciated.

Atlantic Paddle Surfing: Pics of my friends this past week.. Sunday, Jesse and I experimented with the GoPro camera and here are a few shots he took from his board cam. While I was in Florida , John and Jamie surfed on Christmas day. The head high +, lumpy waves made the best gift you cant put under the tree.

Atlantic Paddle Surfing: 1st Go Pro point of view session... Purchased a Go Pro camera from a buddy and today I experimented in the knee high surf. I'm pretty amazed at the quality footage and pics that it took. Jesse received a Go Pro for Christmas too and he was out for the first time also experimenting. Need so see his footage.
