Evan Garcia: Pre-Tour de Stout rally... Salto de Mariman is one of the biggest rapids that is rarely run on the main raft section in Pucon.

adidas Sickline: Stefun's awesome year's end The green was perfect but the hole was so close to it, fat and dangerous!!!! Then we went to La Scie and there we found a perfect water level for a nice session on that wave with the Marmak team, Valentin Corote, Boulox and Kiki.

Jordan Searle: Two Day Whitcombe - Steep, Scenic and an outright Stellar trip The Upper Whitcombe has been infamous in my mind since reading its description in Graham Charles White-Water Guide to New Zealand during my early paddling days. Remote, gradient up to 100m per km and the power of a river apposed to a creek were and still are things that played on my mind.

Eric Jackson: "Fun Day" at Rock Island Today Nick, Dane, and I went out expecting 12,000 cfs and a super cool waterfall into class 5 big water rapid move but from the time we checked the level until we got there it dropped from 12,000 to 8,500 and the waterfall went dry on us. Well, we didn't go home, as 8,500 has a sick hole and the main hole is super cool.

Kokatat Blog: Cascade Kayak School Back in Pucon I spent a couple more days coaching and paddling with the group on the Trancura River. It was cool to see the kids super fired up and getting into paddling like they did. I had a great time, and hope to see them on the water around the world soon.

Sam Roil: Summer creeking The weather sites had been saying there was going to be heavy rain for the Kaimais the night before so I wanted to check the flows. It has been a pretty dry spell for creeking so we were all pretty fevered about any rain.

Shane's Logic: Kayak Sledding in the Liquidlogic Deuce Coupe We got 6- 8" of snow at the Liquidlogic factory and I was just thinking this thing would be fun out there in the snow. The Washington Park neighborhood of Winston Salem has lots of good sledding and Doune St. was the epicenter. The Deuce Coupe was the vehicle of choice.

Werner: Tino Specht, gives Werner Blog subscribers a Super Bowl white water fix The NFL's Super Bowl game, and all the parties this afternoon, certainly help to divert our attention from the fact that most of North America is still struggling to escape Old Man Winter's death lock. Luckily Werner team paddler, Tino Specht, is giving us a life line to some white water action from his travels in Chile.

Jackson Kayak: WV Dries Video update from Jake Ament So an immediate change of plans pointed my compass directly to Fayetteville,WV. The rains have been very kind over the last few weeks allowing the best wave surfing I had yet to encounter.
