Team LiquidLogic Southern Boys doing South Forks in Cali
Team LiquidLogic - I always had the impression that the South Merced is the 'easy' class V overnighter of Cali…. boy was I wrong. Drew is a big fan of the late Lars Holbek, and heard that this was Lars's favorite run. So, Drew wanted to experience it as Lars did by taking his 13′ Green boat, fully loaded with air mattress, camp chair, beer, and soup. I think he went a little overboard. Johnny Kentucky was our guide, and declared it to be medium high at 900cfs on the first day, which we routed down quickly, having Drew probe many large continuous rapids in his hole-killing torpedo. In action below.
Level 6 (Once again) Uganda
Level 6 - With a request for a clinic via Riverproof and the White Water Grand Prix in view, I figured it was a perfect opportunity to keep the annual tradition alive and visit the White Nile again in Uganda. After coming here since 2007 it gives a bit of feeling of coming home. Although civilization is clearly on its rise in the country (huge developments on all infrastructures are well noticeable), the regular activities around the kayak community have remained fairly the same over the past years.
Adam Frey The New Pure on Slesse Creek
Adam Frey - I finally caved in and bought a new Prijon Pure in a nice green color at Western Canoe and Kayak!

Level Six is proud to sponsor this ongoing project.
Team LiquidLogic The 'Combat Roll'
Team LiquidLogic - Without a doubt the most mysterious and confusing part of learning to kayak is the roll. For many paddlers learning to roll is an all consuming process. From dealing with holding your breath to figuring out the 360 degree rotation it is at best foreign for most folks. Then once you have mastered your technique in the pool and take it to the river the current adds another variable.

duemmstuff Indonesia
duemmstuff - Finally I made it to the internet to post a few pictures from my Indonesian mission. I am being hosted here by Central Javanese whitewater kayak community Tirtaseta. They have been keeping me so busy that I hardly get any time to write and arrange my pictures.
New River Academy Oh Africa...
New River Academy - Ice Cream! For the first time in 3 weeks, I am indulging in a delicious Vanilla milkshake! Africa has been amazing!!! I am glad to say that most of my pre conceived notions are not what I thought. For one, last week, we had a hail storm in the streets of Jinja, solid marble sized peices of ice falling from the ski over the small African city. The temperature here is a notion that has held to. It is hot. Nothing else to say about it. Its just HOT!
