CKS Blog - 2012 Dagger Mamba Review with Andrew Holcombe, Snowy Robertson and Hobie. Even though the river in our backyard is almost too low to paddle, and boating season has all but come to an end here in Colorado, it's still an exciting time of year for us.

Jackson Kayak Kayaking Japan! Photos!
Jackson Kayak - Things were lining up perfectly for 16 days kayaking with friends in a well-developed country that hides a surprising amount of un-run rivers. Uncertainty about the trip remained constant for the next two months as we heard mixed reports about how good (or bad) of an idea it was to continue on with our expedition.

Jackson Kayak Rio Mambukaba, Brazil- Update, Photos and Video!
Jackson Kayak - There is reason, logic, thought questioned and verified by experience, and then there is Brazil. Ben Stookesberry, Pedro Oliva, and I had just spent a couple weeks navigating the urban and business landscapes of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, something more difficult for me than a river canyon, and we were itching to get away. Even if only a few days, we knew a river trip would be immensely satisfying after the modern confusion in which we had been swimming.

Werner Photo of the Day-SWEET back side, cross bow cut back with CD.
Werner - Thanks to our TEAM paddler CD (Christian Kinley) for this back side cut back sequence from this past weekend's C-Street contest.  A lot of SUP surfers get a bad wrap for not being good paddlers, essentially just using their surf skills on a big board and letting the paddle flail.  CD is showing some keen style here, cross bowing his set up into the turn. NICE!
