News Watch London 2012 Olympics canoeing BBC (Thursday 26th) *** - Britain's canoe slalom medal hope David Florence tells BBC Sport about his Olympic preparations. Because when you go hard sometimes you get screwed... Dagger Blogs (Saturday 21st) *** - Teigdal is one of the best sections I've run in norway. Lots of rapids, drops and sick slides. Not further than 30 min from Voss is my favorite one so far and got a lot of potential... still a super stout first D in there for the ones who want to go big and doesn't care about landing on a few rocks... First Impressions on the Wave Sport Recon Wavesport Blogs (Sunday 22nd) ** - Last week Bryan Kirk rolled through Idaho armed with a fleet of prototypes of the new Wavesport creekboat: The Recon. I met up with him on the North Fork of the Payette to test out a near final version of the midsized Recon 83. Our trip down the river left me smiling ... Jitsu Impressions! Dagger Blogs (Wednesday 25th) ** - From the first Radical Play Machine to the next, introducing the Dagger Jitsu! I am truly honored to be able to write my impressions of the soon to be available Dagger Jitsu, our newest freestyle project!  It's been a little while I know but that wait will be well worth it.   Life in White Salmon Washington Ryan Lucas (Monday 23rd) * - Well I have been kicking in white salmon for 2 weeks and I am totally loving this place so beautiful pretty sweet looking out to the mountains each day-Mt Hood Mt Adams. Epic boating at your door step.Yep life is pretty dam hard here ha.Well here is a bunch of pic I snapped from my time here enjoy! ... The Warrior Bomb Flow (Tuesday 24th) * - Surfing was Christopher Peterson's life. He fought for his place in the sport, for family, and for friends. When his grandmother called and asked for help, he left the islands only to find tragedy. A History Eskimos and Kayaks PaddleBlogs (Saturday 21st) * - Kayaks as society knows them today, date back to about 4000 years in the prehistoric ages. These days, kayak designs are fancier and have accommodated design developments, but the practical usability is still relative. Dagger Releases Jitsu Promo Dustin Urban (Wednesday 25th) * - I'll be honest, I started paddling Jackson freestyle boats five years ago after I couldn't stay competitive in the Dagger Agent. But guess what? After a long hiatus, it looks like Dagger's getting back in the freestyle game. I hope Rush Sturges is getting paid well by Dagger, ... Darin McQuoid Gets the Shot and 80 Feet of Air on the McKenzie River First Ascent (Sunday 22nd) * - I'm in. We're headed to two eighty-foot high waterfalls. Anxiety comes too easily sitting in the van for nine hours, with nothing to think about except these falls. I've come as the photographer. North Fork of the Payette worldkayak blogs (Wednesday 25th) * - The North Fork is another classic I have always wanted to do, and finally I was able to get on this noble run. Ottawa Valley ... Love Wavesport Blogs (Monday 23rd) * - Finally back on the Ottawa River ! After spending the past year and a half traveling back and forth from New Zealand, Quebec and California, hitting up all the amazing steep creeking these places have to offer, I must admit I was stoked to get back to my home waters of the Ottawa. Brendon's Wave worldkayak blogs (Wednesday 25th) * - The Final event for the USA Point series was the amazing Brendon's Waves in Missoula Montana. Liquidlogic Playboat Prototype: Wave Testing Team LiquidLogic (Friday 20th) * - A couple of weeks ago I got a chance to get the new Liquidlogic Prototype Playboat out on  the Lunch Counter wave in Jackson, Wyoming. The wave was a prime level and perfect for figuring out what this baby can do. Little Qualicum Falls LiquidLore (Monday 23rd) * - Little Qualicum is an amazing park and huck waterfall on Vancouver Island. Check out the photos, and check out this information to make it happen. Mary's Peak, OR (7.15.12) Nathan Pfeifer (Sunday 22nd) * - Mary's Peak is one of my all time favorite rides in Oregon. It's often overshadowed by the riding in Oakridge and other local classics such as the Mckenzie River Trail.

A History Eskimos and Kayaks PaddleBlogs - Kayaks as society knows them today, date back to about 4000 years in the prehistoric ages. These days, kayak designs are fancier and have accommodated design developments, but the practical usability is still relative. Kayak Fishing Destination Bucket List Pat Kellner - I have fished on many rivers and waters around the United States, but not nearly as many as I want to. I have fished countless rivers, lakes, and streams, here in Texas, as well as many of our Saltwater spots. I have fished in Georgia, Iowa, and Virginia, as well but nothing else, and I have never fished outside of the United States. Liquidlogic Playboat Prototype: Wave Testing Team LiquidLogic - A couple of weeks ago I got a chance to get the new Liquidlogic Prototype Playboat out on  the Lunch Counter wave in Jackson, Wyoming. The wave was a prime level and perfect for figuring out what this baby can do. Middle Kings: Trip of a Lifetime Jackson Kayak - It is hard for me to describe the Middle Kings in words. Even after researching, and asking numerous people about the run in the weeks leading up to this trip, nothing prepared me for the journey that three friends and I began at the trailhead to Bishop's Pass. The Middle Kings is by far the most mentally, physically, and technically challenging thing that I have ever done. Potomac Fest and Linville Kayaking Nathan Silsbee - So I've been pretty slack about updating the blog the last couple months, but I've finally settled down in Asheville again and have found the time to put up some photos. Area 47 Freestyle Ramp PeakUK - As part of our Europe tour we were invited to test out the new kayak ramp at Area 47, an ultimate adventure and extreme sports centre in the heart of Austria. Area 47 has been a base for people to come and take part in many extreme and adventure sports for the last few years and now hosts a 45 foot high, custom built, kayak ramp amidst its impressive water park. Community Paddle Night- Lazy Lake Just Liquid - Lazy Lake was not so lazy last night. It was the busiest lake so far out of every community paddle night. [Show as slideshow] First Descent of Rainbow Falls Exploring Elements - New York is a state that has been good to the Dogg. Through the years, I've run countless huge drops in this state and I always come back from my trips with tales of adventure and excitement. It definitely delivers the goods when it comes to whitewater and gets two thumbs up from the Dogg. Mattawamkeag River Jackson Kayak - The last time I ran this river I was in a Crossfire and was paddling with a couple of open-boaters whom i latched onto after leaving my friends upstream surfing. Back then we put- in at the bridge in the town of Mattawamkeag and paddled a few rapids, a big wave, then miles of flat-water which at the time i was not to fond of. Mini expedition warm-up CKS Squad - In the amazing guidebook to the rockies ( WWSR ) there is a section on the back of the book that has lists of check-offs, such as best after work runs, best hike in runs, most likely places to swim and expedition test pieces.   Testing the Waters: Laos Pushes Xayaburi Dam to Critical Point International Rivers - For a brief moment last week, Laos earned the praise of governments throughout the Mekong region. The region was on the brink of conflict over the controversial Xayaburi Dam, as Cambodia and Vietnam were angered by Laos' unilateral decision to continue construction on the project. Vancouver Island 2012 Blair Trotman - So recently I was lucky enough to get two weeks off and head out on a bit of a paddling road trip with some of the boys. 200th Time Trialist found at Intaka! SUP HQ - Beautiful still night at Intaka and we can now celebrate our 200th Time Trialist in Cameron Tripney! He is possibly also one of the youngest at 8 years old. Cameron set a blistering time to slot in 150th on the all time list me reckons he will be climbing that list to sit right at the top in a few years time. Tuna on The Cheoah Freestyle Nation Bliss-Stick US - I have been in the market for a new creek boat for quite some time now. In the past before I knew what I needed or knew enough about boating to make an educated purchase I would just buy what I thought was the hottest boat on the market.

Everybody organizes this kind of race but not many people have a clear idea about rules and ranking system. Dagger Announces 2012 Team Line Up Confluence (Tuesday 17th) *** - Dagger has announced its pro team for the 2012 season, celebrating more than two decades since the very first Team Dagger hit the water in the late 80's. Team Dagger athletes will continue the heritage of competing at the highest levels of kayaking, as well as exploring remote rivers of the world and using their unique position in the action sports world to promote activist and philanthropic causes. Earning turns on the first Raquette release of the summer Dagger Blogs (Saturday 14th) ** - If there's one classic Adam Herzog line, this might be it -- "Don't be a fucking pussy." It's applicable to almost every situation in which Adam finds himself, and the Raquette put-in is no exception. "But we can drive shuttle and be back in ten minutes," Alan said. Sognedalsfjord Bike2Boat (Tuesday 17th) * - Our journey led us to Norway's longest fjord: we took the ferry from Gudvangen to Kaupanger through the 240 kilometer long Sognedalsfjord. 2,5 lazy hours on deck were a more than welcome break from cycling. European Championship, Wildalpen and Prag by Bartozs Pirate Production (Wednesday 18th) * - Been a while without an update, had some busy days but let's start from beginning! My last post included wrap-up before the championships. Every day was very busy for me with mostly 2 starts ... Watch out for the paddler in the stopper! Rod Swan (Monday 16th) * - We had a new paddler join our group on Saturday, Jason Sanderson. He joined Steve Pierce, Darryl Voss, Eric Minger and Myself for a paddle in the unseasonal white water yesterday. It was raining of course and the rivers are up, unusual for July. We Love China! Raft Racing in Asia Palm Blogs (Thursday 19th) * - Aghast that facebook is not allowed and struggling with internet speed Rosie has sent us this great post from China, read on… We have arrived in China! Flown over on an all expenses paid trip by the local Chinese government, ... Jackson Kayak Rock Star Review. worldkayak blogs (Sunday 15th) * - I have had my Rock Star for just under a year now. It hit the UK shores a little over a year ago. As they say the Honeymoon period is over! So how is the Rock Star shaping up? In short, great! But let's go into a little more detail. Bomb Flow Issue Bomb Flow (Monday 16th) * - Jon Turk tells an up close account of his travels during his 1500 mile trek on Ellesmere Island with Erik Boomer. Money Money Money Bike2Boat (Sunday 15th) * - One of the Park'nHuck classics around Voss is Moneydrop on the Strondaelva river. But why Moneydrop? Alps 2012 Andy Wicks (Saturday 14th) * - Leaving home at 2200 on Friday 1st June, we set off for the short drive to the French Alps. With only three of us in the car, we were able to take turns spreading out in the back and catching some shut-eye during the 720 mile drive that would get us to our destination the following afternoon. Liquid Fusion Kayaking: Upset PaddleBlogs (Friday 13th) * - At mile 150, we encountered Upset Rapid. We stopped to scout it because the oarsmen were concerned about a large hydraulic in the middle of the rapid that is known to upset rafts. Our Humbling - North Fork Payette, Idaho Jordan Searle (Saturday 14th) * - After our all out Huckfest in Oregon we proceeded with the obligatory bender in Eugene's BARmuda-triangle, one that will never be forgotten. The end result was 1 lost credit card, 1 police citation, 1 person being physically thrown from the bar, 1 person sleeping between dumpster, ... The Lazy Man'S Whitewater Paradise Palm Blogs (Tuesday 17th) * - As we crossed the border into Pakistan, we stumbled upon a small shop with a refrigerator. The temperature was around 40 degrees Celsius and the sun shone proudly in a cloudless midsummer sky. Cameron Creek - Alberta Dave Crerar (Wednesday 18th) * - With poor weather on the horizon, we headed towards Waterton, a diamond in the rough in my opinion. Waterton has an old Swiss feel to it, the picturesque town is in the middle of a national park and so is kept pristine. As it was May long weekend the town was busy, ...
