News Watch Headlines Initial Big Agnes Wind Lip Review PaddlingLight - This spring (if spring ever comes to the polar vortex), I'll be testing out Big Agnes' Wind Lip sleeping bag on kayaking and canoe trips, but I had a chance to test it out over the last week while in the Badlands National Park. This is his account of that event, a 1,200 mile race around the State of Florida in a kayak, including a 40-mile portage. Central Indiana Kayak Anglers Tournament YakAngler - On April 26, 2014 Central Indiana Kayak Anglers will host it's second tournament at Eagle Creek Reservoir in Indianapolis. All of the proceeds from this event will go to benefit the Indiana Chapter of Heroes on the Water. It's very easy to get accustomed to flip-flops, no sleeves, and warm Nile water. Hood H2O - Tamolitch Falls, also known as Blue Pool is a unique waterfall on the McKenzie River. This area is where the McKenzie River comes back up after being underground just after Carmen Reservoir. It's known as a dry falls, only coming into existence after long periods of rain when the river will flood over the lava bed. Ice Ice brevity A whole bunch of Ing's - I've been blocked in with slob ice since the 4th of March. It built back up due to this cold snap we've had. So cold infact I had my floor chopped out a few days back to fix my frozen septic line. All turned out much easier than expected and the floor went back flawlessly. I'm beginning to become a little handy when it comes to home repairs. Let the Games Begin. Jackson Kayak - With the spirit of the Olympic games still hanging in the air, the kayak anglers here in Hawaii have begun our own epic competition in the form of the annual Aquahunters Makahiki Tournament—but thankfully without all that snow and cold air. Paddle Around Puerto Rico Complete SUP Magazine - Last Sunday, March 2, Simpson finished doing just that, along with local Puerto Rican paddler Meldrick Velez, who originally planned to paddle with Simpson for a day or two and ended up completing the 278-mile journey with him.
