Daniel Patrinellis The Folks, Pygmy'S and Boofs
Daniel Patrinellis - My mother was able to make the long trek up to the NW and we went on a little roadtrip up to Port Angeles and visited Pygmy Kayaks.
unsponsored Craig Stanger – Charity Paddle
unsponsored - Setting off from the Northern end of Kielder reservoir, I am looking to make a full descent of the River Tyne ending at Tynemouth. The total journey is in excess of 70 miles and takes in Kielder reservoir, the River North Tyne from Kielder reservoir to its confluence with the South Tyne just above Hexham, and then down the River Tyne to Tynemouth.
Mackayak Getting There
Mackayak - Getting ready for the year ahead involves a lot of reviewing of resources, including time... Living up here on a peripheral archipelago means every trip planned takes extra time, and money, and is even more weather dependent.
Jackson Kayak Dueling Kayaks on The Chattooga River
Jackson Kayak - The Jackson Kayak Zen and the Jackson Kayak Karma have one very strong trait in common: speed. I am talking speed and acceleration that will zip you in and out of eddies, make quicker corrections, and soar you through the sky. It is true. The only way you will know is if you try one.
Jackson Kayak Nouria Newman's Winter Adventures
Jackson Kayak - For the first time of my life I spent most of the winter time abroad and I didn't get to ski much is my home mountains. Of course I kinda missed it but since I went kayaking in some warm places instead it was totally worth it .
SUP Magazine Appleby, Trout Win Races At Huntington
SUP Magazine - Candice Appleby and Slater Trout both put on dominant performances to emerge victorious at the US SUP Tour in foggy Huntington Beach this morning. Waves in the chest-high realm with an incoming tide provided tricky conditions for the racers, who had a long beach sprint to get their boards into deep enough water to start paddling.
unsponsored Nose Plugs/Clips
unsponsored - A lot of discussion goes on about the pros and cons of wearing nose plugs . I don't really want to entering into that becuase at the end of the day it is down to personal choice. So assuming you wish to wear nose clips – which ones are best?
fishyaker.com Paddlesport 2014 This Weekend
fishyaker.com - I am excited to be at Paddlesport in Somerset, New Jersey again this year. This year's show will be from March 28th to 30th, at the Garden State Exhibit Center. If you have never attended Paddlesport, you definitely need to make it out.
Rapid Media Paddle Your Canoe Silently
Rapid Media - Whether you're sneaking up on a moose for that perfect photo or simply enjoying the sensation of gliding across water soundlessly, silent paddling is a skill every canoeist should master. The good news is, at the heart of every quiet stroke is just good technique.
Riding Bumps Barz Optics Floating Sunglasses
Riding Bumps - It is no secret that at Riding Bumps we are long time Oakley fans. Unfortunately, Oakley, to our knowledge, does currently not make sunglasses that float. Having lost a pair or two in the water, our beloved Oakleys do not always come paddling when we do.
SUP Magazine Schweitzer, Merrill Win US SUP Tour Huntington Beach
SUP Magazine - The kickoff to the US SUP Tour's second year ran smack into mother nature: Huntington Beach, California's afternoon onshore winds. The winner? We're a little biased but we'd say the collection of international athletes that gathered at the Surf City Pier came out on top.
Tony Paradise A change of plan paddle
Tony Paradise - The wind forecast yesterday, Friday, for today, Saturday was 15 - 20 knots so I suggested a bounce in the waves and some surf rides. Dean, being the only friend to respond positively, and I met at 12:00 which would have allowed sufficient time for the seas to fully develop.
Riding Bumps Lactate Threshold Testing for Cross Training While Training for An Sup Race?
Riding Bumps - On a cross-training day in your program it typically states to stay in HR Z1-2, sometimes some tempo or light interval work into zone 3. Are those HR zones that you are speaking of the same numbers that were derived from my personal paddleboard AT test? As you have clearly pointed out in the past, there is a drastic difference in AT from activity to activity.
Kayak Yak Inner Harbour
Kayak Yak - The forecast was for fog, not cloud. Fog burns off, cloud not so much sometimes. But not this morning. Cool and cloudy. Despite that, Louise and I headed down to the harbour to kayak from downtown up The Gorge.
