CackleTV Biggest crossing of the trip- tick
CackleTV - A very tired but happy yeah from Amukta island. Today ( or rather yesterday at just before midnight) Sarah and I landed on a boulder beach in the dark after a 47 nautical mile paddle across Amukta pass, the biggest crossing of our Aleutian Adventure.
Dash Point Pirate 'The Last Baidarka' Plays at the 2014 Pacific Paddling Symposium
Dash Point Pirate - I first heard about the Pacific Paddling Symposium after seeing pictures some of my Facebook friends posted last year. I really wanted to attend this year, so I was totally thrilled to get an invitation from the organizers to present my film. As an introduction to the film, I took the opportunity to reminisce about my personal journey through Greenland-style, building traditional skin-on-frame kayaks, and paddling around the Pacific Northwest.
Jackson Kayak Karma RG on a 10 days self-support down the White and Green rivers
Jackson Kayak - I just got back from paddling the Karma RG on a 10 day self-support trip down the White river and the Green River, in Western Utah. Most of the run I paddled solo, then I met up with some friends on Desolation and Gray canyons on the Green River.

Louise Jull 2014 Little White Race
Louise Jull - The Little White Race is definitely one of the best extreme races I have been to! Organised by World Class Academy Director Capo Rettig, this event is so epic because it is well organised, backed by an awesome community and held on a incredibly beautiful class 5 river. Having arrived in Washington State at the end of April I became familiar with a bunch of the runs in the area that were running nice and high due to the Spring flows.
Trash Paddler Concord River's Lost Byways
Trash Paddler - It was a perfect morning for heading down the Concord River from the Bedford Boat Launch. Getting on the water before 8 am allowed me plenty of time to travel down to the dam at North Billerica and back.
Steve Gibson Bill Jacksons Demo Day
Steve Gibson - Had a great time at the annual Bill Jackson's demo day in Pinellas FL. We had a great showing of the Jackson line up. The Cuda 14 seemed to get the most attention. A whole bunch of Ing's Calmness of June
A whole bunch of Ing's - A washing machine in the calmest of winds; the reef was quiet for a visit. A midday sun illuminating a world of urchin, coral, and crustaceans. Graceful tern's finally back from their migration, loudly battling each other in aerial combat overhead. My day was simply to paddle east from my home and activate my spot messenger for pick up.
Am. Whitewater Oregon Paddlers - You Can Help Improve Boating!
Am. Whitewater - Paddlers and boaters are welcome to attend listening session meetings conducted by Oregon State Marine Board agency staff and non- motorized advisory committee members. You can express how things can be made more convenient to you in regards to boating access, on-the-water safety, education and funding options. The inputs received from these sessions and surveys would be considered in formulating a non-motorized boater program. Come join hands to made your paddle environment more better.
Jackson Kayak Gopro Games for Team Jackson Kayak- Three Days and Counting,
Jackson Kayak - This year's GoPro Games will be another big one.  GoPro is stepping up the heat with bigger sponsorship, and the water is cooperating with an amazing high water week. Today we spend the day at Homestake, where I captured Nick and Dane training in their Karma's with my Hero 3+ and DJI Phantom.
Tony Paradise Paddle ad hoc and the three bergs - Part 1
Tony Paradise - Two weeks ago Tobias informed us of an iceberg in Stiles Cove just north of Flatrock.  Today we finally got around to checking it out.  There was also a berg in Pouch Cove that was on our radar. Brian, Hazen, Sue, Tobias and I met at Flatrock.  The wind forecast was friendly but I suspected it would be a bumpy ride judging by the wave model forecast. It is fairly protected inside the cove at Flatrock and when we saw the water bashing against the shoreline I anticipated things getting more interesting out of the protection of the land.
