Naish Naish Austria's Geli Kientzl 2014 Austrian SUP Champion
Naish - The SUP Alps Trophy wasn't the only event where Team Naish dominated last weekend! Just a stone's throw away, the 4th Annual Austrian SUP Championships were also underway in St. Wolfgang on the Wolfgangsee.
Luuka Jones London World Cup
Luuka Jones - Thanks Jamie Troughton for the article in the Bay of Plenty times that sums up the London World Cup. It was a really pleasant weekend of racing with some good progression, achieving my best WC result. It was cool to catch up with the rest of the Kiwi team, with some of them racing their first ever world cup.
Jason Self - Kayak Angler Guided Kayak Fishing, Trinidad Rockfish Wars, Sea Kayak Whale Tours
Jason Self - Kayak Angler - It's been a long time since my last posting. I have to say I debated calling it quits on the old Kayak Angler Blog. I started this blog in 2008, shortly after I began coaching & guiding sea kayaking as a way to keep my paddler's log as required by the BCU (British Canoe Union) system of education and certification.
Jackson Kayak Become a Safety Boater
Jackson Kayak - There was a time in my life when I loved competition. Back in college it was on the soccer and baseball fields that my competitive fire was stoked with daily workouts and games. Well folks, those times are no more. I enjoy being a part of the competition just not as a competitor.
Girls at Play Lean Forward and Paddle Hard
Girls at Play - I can do this. This is totally in my reach, I can do this. I was in the top eddy above Pencil Sharpener, above The Notch, above Gorilla, and was about to run one of the most respected rapids on the Southeast. Gorilla.
SUPracer Casper Steinfath, Angie Jackson Dominate Day One In Bilbao, Spain
SUPracer - It's week #4 of the Euro Tour and this weekend we're in the awesome city of Bilbao, Spain for another big race. The Bilbao World SUP Challenge has attracted a pretty solid lineup of talent, with the international cast of paddlers set for sprint racing on Saturday followed by a 13km cruise through the city's main river on Sunday. Read on for full update of this race, there was not a dull movement in the event...
Martina Wegman Grand Canyon Awesomness
Martina Wegman - I was extremely lucky to be invited by Shilo Gibson for a Grand Canyon trip! Straight after the WWGP I took a flight into Flagstaff where I met up with Louise Jull, who was going to hike in with me for the ten day mission. The trip was organized and leaded by Luc Strickland and included sixteen people, four rafts and four kayaks.
SUPboarder Supbikerun – a new breed of triathlon
SUPboarder - This style of event isn't a totally new concept, as tri-sports events combining SUP have successfully been delivered in Hawaii, USA and Canada but this is a new concept to the UK. #supbikerun is a new breed of triathlon.
unsponsored Kokatat GoreTex Meridian Drysuit – Review
unsponsored - Now I have to say the first thing that you notice with this suit, when you get off the water you are dry. Not a little damp from sweat, but bone-dry like I have never had before. The suit is just simply superb at keeping you dry and getting rid of all the sweat that builds up inside, wicking it away out of the fabric.
Angling Addict Big Blues and a Grey Trout
Angling Addict - Work and family life have been pretty hectic lately so my apologies for the late report. Last month, I ventured to Rudee inlet a few times with hopes of crossing off a certain specie on the citation bucket list.
Jackson Kayak Outfitting a Jackson Kayak for a Smaller Paddler
Jackson Kayak - I love the simplicity and functionality of Jackson Kayak's outfitting. Jackson Kayaks are easily adjusted to fit different sized paddlers and easy to adjust on the fly (simply eddy-out or paddle into calm deep water, pop your spry deck and adjust).
Confluence What's New from Marketing in June
Confluence - Held in Vail, Colo. June 5-8 the GoPro Mountain Games is the largest celebration of adventure sports, music, and the mountain lifestyle. With several kayaking events, from the 8-Ball Race and Kayak Freestyle, to the Steep Creek Championships and the Downriver Sprint Race, the Mountain Games showcase many different types of whitewater competitions.
Rapid Media Father's Day Gift Guide
Rapid Media - Your dad deserves the best for Father's Day, so why not get him a gift that makes him really happy? While you may not be able to give him more time on the water, you can get him set up to be more efficient in the kayak. Kayak Angler's Father's Day Gift Guide is sure to not only get your dad onto more fish, but to also make his time on the water more fun.
Rapid Media Dagger Katana Kayak Review
Rapid Media - Watch a video walkthrough of the Dagger Katana with Rapid publisher Scott MacGregor and Dagger team manager Chris Gragtmans.  The Katana was the Samurai's weapon of choice for close contact fighting. Its curved design allowed them to draw the slender sword quickly and effectively. If you are looking for an equally impressive weapon for when you draw, say, a multi-day paddling trip permit, then the Dagger Katana is for you.
SUPboarder SUP for Sanctuary
SUPboarder - SUP For Sanctuary, offers stand up paddleboarding as a form of therapy to those looking to improve their well-being and poor mental health. It is an inspired collaboration between the famous Cornish charity 'Sea Sanctuary' and WeSUP Paddleboard Centre in Falmouth, Cornwall.
