It is a short run – about 15 minutes, but with a 213 foot per mile gradient and the gauge showing 5ft (something like 2500cfs) the lateral and mid river waves were some of the biggest I have encountered. Hobie Bass Open Results YakAngler - On Friday afternoon I loaded up my Toyota Tundra and hit the road, heading to the Hobie Bass Open held on Kentucky Lake. This tournament is a qualifying event for the Hobie Fishing Worlds tournament held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, October 6-10, 2014. KARS Park Redfish Tournament YakAngler - It's tourney time again! Once again, the KARS staff and I will host a kayak, canoe, and SUP tournament. KARS Park, located on the pristine waters of the No Motor Zone in the Merritt Island National Refuge on East Central Florida's Space Coast is perhaps one of Florida's greatest treasures for inshore anglers. Cassian River unsponsored - The Cassian river is a 9.5km section with a 4% drop profile. It is definitely one of the best creek you can find around Quebec. When you make the first stroke on Cassian Lake, you know you're about to run approximately 60 quality Class IV-V rapids.
