SUP Magazine - Sometimes the most frustrating incidents give us the best perspective. Maui resident Suzie Cooney , a sponsored standup paddler, previously-sponsored windsurfer, certified personal trainer, sports model, dirtbike racer and surfer, broke her leg in two places and tore ligaments in the other when she, believe it or not, missed the bottom stair in her house. She was confined to a wheelchair for two months.

Jackson Kayak - Another tournament in the books but an incredible experience for myself as this was my first tournament that i had run mostly alone besides help from Gary Ward with Facebook posting promotions and making phone calls during the day. The Jersey Paddler and Pat Wooley was a big help sponsoring with prizes!! A big thanks to Yak Gear for their generous donations. All proceeds from this tournament benefit Heroes on the Water and the Elks Lodge Veterans charities.
Connor Baxter Connor Baxter wins the and Breaks his own World Record
Connor Baxter - The 2014 Molokai to Oahu was a great event. We went over to Molokai on our boat three days before the event. It was nice to just relax and take it all in before the grueling 32-mile channel crossing. The night before the race my mom made her traditional competition meal and I got a good night's rest. I did a little warm-up paddle to make sure I was ready to go and then I lined up on the starting line after the prone paddlers left.

Paddle Into Fitness - I flew into Colorado on June 1 st for a month long adventure of river running on my SUP…all while living out of a sprinter van. My friend Natali picked me up from the airport, and we made our way to Vail, Colorado to prepare for the Go Pro Mountain Games.
