ICF - Ricarda Funk won a gold medal in front of her home fans during the last day of Canoe Slalom World Cup final in Augsburg, Germany. French duo Gauthier Klauss and Matthieu Peche won the tight C2 final.
Team I-Canoe First Look – New Typhoon Equator Drysuit
Team I-Canoe - This autumn Typhoon are launching a new drysuit called the Equator. It is still a 4 layer breathable material but it is a much lighter weight and spec than their Multisport 4 drysuit.

Kayak Yak Kayakers spot sea otter!
Kayak Yak - Bernie spotted news of a sighting of a sea otter at Ten Mile Point! Two kayakers found a sea otter playing near their launch point. There are plenty of river otters to be seen along either side of Ten Mile Point and along much of the shoreline of southern Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.

SUPracer - The big names looked good out there today. Danny, Jake, Zane, Kai, Travis, Connor, Kelly, Shakira, Candice, Jenny and Annabel all looked very quick in the race qualifiers.

PenobscotPaddles - This weekend was Belfast Harborfest- which included a Pilot Gig Rigatta, a small boat display, the boat building challenge, where teams were given three hours to build a boat , a 5K Road Race, and much more. Sunday was the cardboard boat race.
International Rivers New Report: Indigenous Rights Violations At Baram Dam Site in Sarawak
International Rivers - A new report entitled No Consent to Proceed. Indigenous Peoples Rights Violations at the Proposed Baram Dam in Sarawak is being launched in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The report is based on information gathered by an independent fact-finding team that met and interviewed people in 13 of the 26 villages that will be affected by the proposed dam.

ICF German K1m fort in Augsburg remains untouched
ICF - The iconic canoe slalom course in Augsburg witnessed some excellent paddling in Saturday's finals of the World Cup. Sebastian Schubert (GER) took gold in K1m, Denis Gargaud Chanut (FRA) in C1m and Mallory Franklin (GBR) in C1w event.
