SeaKayakPhoto.com - Once Tony and I left Campbeltown Loch and turned our bows north towards the Kilbrannan Sound we found that the wind became increasingly a head wind.
Boarders Magazine 2014 Wake Surf Nationals
Boarders Magazine - Labor Day weekend wrapped up the second-to-last event of the 2014 wakesurf season. The Nautique USA National Wakesurf Championship was held at Callaway Gardens in Georgia. This is one of my favorite events of the year. As an ex 3-event skier myself, it's hard not to get excited about being on the water of the legendary Masters Water Ski Tournament.

Mike Dawson Touched down in the USA
Mike Dawson - A dark and stormy morning caused the sun to rise a little later in Prague ahead of my flight to the USA. We loaded up the caddy and headed to Prague Airport. While unloading kayaks paddles and bags, a downpour of frosty rain drops slowly saturated me ahead of the journey. It was now time to move onwards to warmer climates & better weather before autumn got hold on central Europe.

Jackson Kayak Pro Am Games at NOC-Fundraising for First Descents!
Jackson Kayak - After finishing up with Nationals Championships at Pigeon Point, I headed over to the Nantahala Outdoor Center on the Nantahala River where I volunteered to be a Pro at the World Kayak Pro Am games. It's a competition where a pro is matched up with a few amateur kayakers who are trying to improve while supporting an awesome charity, First Descents, a camp for cancer survivors ages 18-34.
