International Rafting Federation China R2 – Impressions from the 2015 competitions
International Rafting Federation - This year a few lucky teams from around the world were invited to travel to China to race in two R2 competitions. The competitions were held on the same rivers as last year , but this time they were separated into two events instead of just one. I was fortunate to be invited to Stop 2 (second competition) and so this report is about that, but I did get feedback from some of those that attended Stop 1 (further down).

River Bassin Trail - It was a rainy couple of weeks leading up to the Aurora, Illinois Regional River Bassin Tournament Trail event held at Rocktown Adventures on July 11th. 20150711_143622The Chicago-area rivers were inundated with water, as three inches fell mercilessly two days prior to the event.
