SUP Magazine - It's New Year's Eve 2015 the final day of what can only be described as an epic year for the sport of standup paddleboarding. We saw outstanding performances in all sectors of SUP from Travis Grant and Sonni Hönscheid toughing out wins i n grueling Molokai conditions, to Kelly Margetts turning back the clock at the Columbia Gorge Challenge, to Izzi Gomez and Caio Vaz claiming SUP surfing world titles , to Candice Appleby and Connor Baxter's dominant displays at the inaugural Pacific Paddle Games. But as we turn the pages of our calendars and look forward to a new year, it's plain to see: 2016 is going to be even better.

Distressed Mullet - The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is continuing to do checks of the shoreline along Okaloosa Island in hopes of finding a Fort Walton Beach man who disappeared while paddleboarding yesterday morning behind the Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island.

Sea Kayak Stonington - We had an amazing run of warm-for-December weather, and well, I guess it had to end sometime. We've been paddling in 40 and even 50-degree weather not a lot of big trips- mostly afternoon jaunts out to the nearby islands.

SUP Examiner - Immersed TV is partnering with the Waterman League to air a live webcast of the 2016 Pipeline Invitational. Ten Hawaii born athletes have been selected to take part in the prestigious SUP Invitational to take place at Pipeline as a part of the 2016 Shootout in Memory of Duke Kahanamoku. With a dramatic forecast in place, the performance level promises to be extraordinary, with Keali'i Mamala and 4x World Champion Kai Lenny and other top athletes named to the elite line up.
