Palm Blogs Paddle fun trip to New Zealand
Palm Blogs - In December I headed to New Zealand with Susan Doyle and Ultan O'Kane to paddle as many rivers as we could and see as much of the country in one month. We stayed on the North Island for a week and headed straight to the Kaituna. On arriving we discovered that the Okere Falls Enduro race was being held there later that week and after a few runs on the river we decided to enter the race.
SUP Magazine Dreams of The Big Island

Chris Wing Should kids run class V?
Chris Wing - It seems to be one of the most common questions I receive from a parent as their child progresses as a whitewater paddler. Actually, more so than "Should my kid be running class V?" I hear, "Is my child ready for this river?" With that, I see an upward trend of moving young paddlers closer and closer to class V the longer I teach children, and I think it is due time to have the public discussion of what is appropriate and necessary for youth as they progress as paddlers at a radical rate.
International Rivers At the Borders of Ecological Destruction | Bangkok Post
International Rivers - There was the case of which 37 villagers from eight provinces in Thailand suing Energy Ministry and Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand as they signed an agreement for building the Xayaburi Dam on Mekong River in Laos. Well, the verdict of the case upset Pianporn conservationists working for AEC. Still, organisations and individuals will fight to save rivers from destruction. We should all too lobby to save our rivers.
American Rivers Film Showcases a Farmer's Love for California's San Joaquin River
American Rivers - I've had a love affair with the San Joaquin River since the first time I saw it. I feel that all rivers are national treasures. When that river was wild, it was so beautiful. It was sacred, spiritual. It was a feeling I can't even describe. And I used to think, I wish more people could be doing what I'm doing.
Kokatat Blog Traditional Advent paddling trip
Kokatat Blog - For the 14th year in a row it was time for the traditional advent paddling in the Misterhult archipelago, on the south east coast of Sweden.
SquareRock Scotland 2015
SquareRock - I've finally got round to writing a blog for our trip to Scotland back in November, what a trip it was! On our previous Scotland trip we only had one car, and saw nearly no other boaters, so it limited what we could paddle, as we'd have to do the shuttle on foot, which sucked.

You can imagine my stoke once the day finally arrived, and we board the plane to head to Hawaii in hopes to paddle some epic whitewater.
