With that, I see an upward trend of moving young paddlers closer and closer to class V the longer I teach children, and I think it is due time to have the public discussion of what is appropriate and necessary for youth as they progress as paddlers at a radical rate. We should all too lobby to save our rivers. Film Showcases a Farmer's Love for California's San Joaquin River American Rivers - I've had a love affair with the San Joaquin River since the first time I saw it. I feel that all rivers are national treasures. When that river was wild, it was so beautiful. It was sacred, spiritual. It was a feeling I can't even describe. And I used to think, I wish more people could be doing what I'm doing. Traditional Advent paddling trip Kokatat Blog - For the 14th year in a row it was time for the traditional advent paddling in the Misterhult archipelago, on the south east coast of Sweden. Mission Hawaii- Waiting for Rain Jackson Kayak - Kayaking in Hawaii has been a dream of mine for several years, though the Road to Hana specifically has been a personal goal of mine and a project I have been working on for several months. You can imagine my stoke once the day finally arrived, and we board the plane to head to Hawaii in hopes to paddle some epic whitewater.
