Team Pyranha Easter Adventures in Morocco
Team Pyranha - We rocked up to Marrakech airport and found our Omar, our driver for the trip. He led us out to a ~14 seater minibus (well, it would have been if a load of seats hadn't been removed). It was complete overkill for only five people, this was going to be travelling in luxury.
Jackson Kayak Asahan River, Indonesia - video
Jackson Kayak - Here's a head-cam video of my adventures this winter in Indonesia. The river is the mighty Asahan, a once popular river that now seldom sees any foreigners or kayakers. It's over an hour of non-stop whitewater through jungles and dramatic valleys.

Sea Kayaker Rescue in Alaska
Sea Kayaker - I had been thinking about paddling in Alaska for a long time. Many kayakers I know have paddled there, most of them in organized groups, and almost all of them in Prince William Sound. My friend and fellow kayaker, Albert, instantly accepted the idea of paddling in Alaska, but proposed a different Alaskan destination, the Kenai Fjords.
CKS Squad Robe Canyon Downriver Race 2010!
CKS Squad - The 2nd Robe Canyon Downriver race was a huge success this past weekend in Granite Falls, WA. Todd Gillman put on a great race, and there was a nice turnout of 16teams! The weekend started out nicely.. I finished classes on friday, and was stoked for the weekend to come. Saturday came and in the evening we met up with a great crew for some of their first times down Robe.

Outside Blog Kayaking Legend Jon Lugbill's Dream Job
Outside Blog - The only paddler to appear on a Wheaties box loves Richmond, Virginia. Jon Lugbill is widely considered the greatest whitewater canoeist ever. Now his goal is to make the Dominion Riverrock—a multi-sport festival taking place May 14-15 in Richmond—a vital adventure sports stop on everyone's list.
paddling.net Avoiding Accidents
paddling.net - I've been lucky. In more than 30 years of guiding canoe trips on some of the toughest rivers in northern Canada, I've never needed more than band-aids and Tylenol. I believe I owe my good luck to a plan that emphasizes avoiding accidents.

Sea Kayaker - Freya Hoffmeister finished her circumnavigation of Australia on December 15, 2009, shortly after we went to press with our February issue. She landed at Queenscliff at the mouth of Melbourne, having covered 8,565 miles (13,790 km) in 245 days of paddling over her 332-day expedition. homemade kayaks Wednesday morning outing
homemade kayaks - oday the sea was a bit rougher due to the wind stirring up a bit of a swell, this made for an interesting paddle this morning. Here`s a couple of pics that Vered took of me paddling out through the waves.I like playing in rough water and can spend hours in the surf zone.
