Teva Blog Erik Boomer runs 100+ ft Chutes De Magnam
Teva Blog - We arrived at Chutes De Magnan on April 29th and took a few hours to scout. Upon first inspection I was unsure if there was a reasonable line. The drop cascades an estimated 100+ feet down a chasm of mankiness... The unpredictability of the rock, speed and difficulty of the entry, and the overall stoutness made the rest of us weary.
Level 6 HAWAII: In search of Wai
Level 6 - In January 2010 our crew decided to head out to the Big Island of Hawaii in search of all the waterfalls we had seen on the Internet. The crew consisted of myself Shon Bollock, Cody Howard, Justin Patt, Jake Sanders, and producer Harrison Tobin. Justin Patt and I arrived to meet the rest of the boys at Hilo International Airport on the Big Island, after driving from Mt. Shasta, CA to Portland, OR to catch our flight.
Level 6 Early Season Elbow River
Level 6 - The Elbow River is medium sized river that flows out of the foothills just south of Calgary, it contains a few good sections including one short class 4/5 run. There are three challenging drops which can all be run as many times as you want, making it a great run to get warmed up for the season.

LiquidLore BC Whitewater Release: Ashlu
LiquidLore - Like it or not, whitewater releases are going to be something kayakers will have to deal with in the future in BC. We should all be thankful that someone - whoever was involved, either government dudes or concerned kayakers - had the foresight to see that releases should be included in the licensing agreement for the Ashlu diversion and that they didn't just roll over and die when it was confirmed the dam was going to be built. I haven't been around long enough to know the details of what went down to make it happen, but I have to say thanks for getting it done.

homemade kayaks Why take part in a kayak competition
homemade kayaks - Somewhere along the way it became unfashionable to be competitive.I know that in some schools competition is frowned upon because those who don`t win suffer from a lesser self esteem and feelings of inadequacy, and so to make everyone feel good there are no more winners and losers.
