Team Pyranha - Coming up to spring break this year I hadn't paddled much at all since Green Race, so I was very stoked to see everything running just as break started.  The large amount of rain limited the amount of rivers we could paddle and we knew it would have to be something small…. Living less than 40 min from the Jocasse watershed I had been eyeing Bearwallow creek for several months but couldn't ever get a good idea of how much rain it would take to get it going, I barely knew where the putin and take-out were and had not done any scouting on the run.

The first prototype of the Stompers on the Green River Team LiquidLogic - The first day that I had the protos of the Stomper 80 the Green was so crowded that I didn't want to have our brand new protos out on the river will the entire world to see.  So we had headed over to the Chattooga river where we knew we wouldn't run into too many folks, especially since it was over 4ft.  The next day was a Monday and we knew that it wouldn't be crowded out there on the river so we decided to drop in on a good flow of 15″ on the stick.

2011 Jr. Olympics in Lyons, colorado worldkayak blogs - This year, the jr. olympics were scheduled to be in Golden, CO. but due to high water, it was moved to Lyons. CO. a few days before it was scheduled to start. I have just gotten back to Salida, Colorado where the water is still raging and shows no sign of coming down. Just a week ago I was in Plattling, Germany competing in the Worlds for freestyle kayaking. Seth Ashworth - When I moved to Austria I was pretty sure there were big mountains, everyone whore laderhousen, men had big beards and there was only creek boating. Since being here I have found that there is so much more to Austria than meets the eye, including not just enjoyable freestyle paddling but competitions as well. I only made this discovery when the campground next door to mine at World Championships had a whole bunch of Austrians move in.

2011 Ottawa by Irish Dave! Jackson Kayak - Dave Crerar. So it has been 5 awesome years working for Wilderness Tours and Ottawa Kayak School here on the Ottawa river. The Ottawa was my first stop when I first got to Canada and it has been my home away from home over the last few years I have been here in Canada. I can not stress enough the versatility, homeliness and the unique culture surrounding this river. Weather just heading to the Ottawa to paddle for a brief time or to start a career in the outdoor industry you would be hard pressed not to notice to close knit nature of the Ottawa Valley.

Middle Feather 4th of July Team LiquidLogic - Here are more photos from the Cali trip thus far. The day after getting off Big Kimshew we hustled over to Quincy, CA with our sights on some bigger water and the Middle Feather. This was an awesome way to spend our 4th of July. Even though non of us brought any fireworks there were plenty of American flag covered Budweiser cans to feel the holiday cheer.
