Rapid Magazine Blog (Wednesday 6th) *** - "Fixing the scoring system could help solve the attendance problem.  But the change needs to happen at a fundamental level.  Simply putting a number value on each move just doesn't work for freestyle kayaking." ... Colorado Pro Tour 2011 adidas Sickline (Thursday 7th) ** - Since I started competing this year I dreamed about spending June in Colorado. Spending one month and a half fighting the best in the world in amazing places with the most beautiful wild-life reservations on earth. Colorado was my destination after Mexico and Quebec. I love the excitement of hard competitions, which gives you a lot of fun and satisfaction. Double Drop Sam Sutton (Sunday 3rd) ** - So today the rain has finally stopped, and it was Tegdalen time. This run is probably one of the best creeks in the world, unfortunately upon arrival it was to high for the whole section, but we decided to run double drop any way enjoy the pics thanks to Friflyt... Product Review: Project X Aquabatics Calgary (Monday 4th) ** - Impressive. Very impressive. This boat has surpassed all expectations preset for it. 3 years in the making this revolution of the project series hit North America this spring and has wooed every playboater I have talked with including myself. BIG SNOW OPTIONS Team Pyranha (Monday 4th) ** - It's July! and some of the typical early May runs haven't even come in yet! With the big snow pack in the Sierras, we have been checking out new stuff and lapping some classics. Here are some shots from the past couple of days. Boating everyday, no excuses Jackson Kayak (Sunday 3rd) ** - I have flown half way around the world once again to experience another summer in the spectacular southeast USA which I have found myself to be as excited as if it was my first. I discovered paddling over a decade ago at a camp and have returned to the Southeast every year to instruct and teach on some of the most beautiful rivers around. Ekstreme Veko Sam Sutton (Tuesday 5th) ** - Well that has been the rap of yet another amazing Voss Ekstreme Veko, this place is amazing having multiple sports all compiled into one week of pure insanity from crazy base jumpers to loose long boarders it is all happening in voss ekstreme veko. I would love to say thanks to all of the amazing organizers and every one. Spring Wavesport Blogs (Thursday 7th) ** - This Spring in Alberta has been one of the best in recent years with a ton of water. I've been so busy getting out I haven't had much time to spend on the computer, so I'll just leave you with a few pictures and a short video of my first swim in the last six years. Seth Ashworth (Saturday 2nd) * - So now one week on from returning from the ICF Freestyle Kayaking World Championships I think my body has finally recovered from one of the funnest and most interesting experiences of my life so far. This was my first international event and it was an amazing experience. In two weeks I met ... Demshitz Creeks Lime & Steals Podium at Gunny Fest Team Pyranha (Sunday 3rd) * - Usually by the end of June when the Pyranha van is rolling out of Colorado to head to the Northwest, the rivers in Colorado are dropping; most of the creeks have come and gone and the rivers have already spiked. We left Colorado full of water with most creeks still left to be run.  Before our last stop at the Gunnison River Festival, we ventured down to Silverton, CO to find Mineral Creek still under snow, Ice Lakes Creek filled with wood, but were able to run the Lime Creek classics.  Rolling with Stika gnarlydog (Monday 4th) * - The relative warm and crystal clear winter waters of Queensland offer the perfect environment for some fun in a kayak, underwater. Teva games in Italy Zet Kayaks (Friday 1st) * - First week in June another important extreme kayaking competition took place in Val Chiusela valley, Italy. Couple of disciplines were held and a great competition from all over Europe and overseas gathered. First discipline was the extreme downhill, where I made a mistake and stuck between the rocks for few seconds. World Championships update Six: Finals day... Seth Ashworth (Saturday 2nd) * - So after all of the fuss and commotion over flooding fears no epic high flows ever came, if anything by saturday the level was optimal for a day of finals. First up was squirt which we watched with baited breath as Jamie Austen (GBR) was pipped at the post by young Dane Jackson of the USA ... Late Summer White Water in Slovenia with Gene17 Gene17 (Wednesday 6th) * - For the Class II/III paddler wanting to the confidence and knowledge to step up a grade, there could be no better place to learn than the Soča valley. The pool drop bedrock style of the Soča offers the perfect training ground, with endless opportunities to perfect your technique before testing it out on more challenging whitewater. This week will see you building confidence and style.
