Zet Kayaks - First week in June another important extreme kayaking competition took place in Val Chiusela valley, Italy. Couple of disciplines were held and a great competition from all over Europe and overseas gathered. ICF L'Argentiere Up Next in Canoe Slalom World Cup Series
ICF - Shortly after their final race in Tacen, athletes were already on the road enroute to L'Argentiere, hosts of the next ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup. L'Argentiere is a sub-community of Pays des Ecrins located in the Hautes-Alpes. The venue is the L'Argentiere Canoe Slalom Course which sits on the Durance River and is used for kayaking, white-water rafting and other water sports.
Palm Blogs TEVA Extreme Outdoor Games Italy 2011
Palm Blogs - After having a pretty turbulent June attending three big events I just want to give a short update about this years edition of the Teva Extreme Outdoor Games in Ivrea. It was the third year the Games were hosted during the second weekend of June in the new location. The long distance down river race was hold up in Valchiusella and won by Mike Dawson (NZL) and Martina Wegman (NED). It acted as qualification for the famous "King of the Falls" race.

Imagine Surf Blog - John from Mountain River Tours in Kernville took a large group of kayakers out onto the Powerhouse section of the kern. For most of the group this was their first time on a SUP. The group included Olympian Eric Giddens, and his wive, Olympic silver medalist Rebecca Giddens.

Adrian Tregoning - The Ash River is well known in South Africa amongst paddlers and obviously this article is not about the first descent, however, Fluid Team paddler Luke Longridge decided that the top dam walls are indeed runnable and decided to be the first to probe. I believe water levels were very high for this run. From my past times on the Ash I know that the second dam is actually a stepped drop.
