Making Your Rock Star Really Rock: Customising Your outfitting PaddleBlogs - Last year, Scott Hanshaw (one of, if not the best, freestyle kayaker in the ArkLaOklaMissouTex region) showed me how he outfits his Jackson playboats. We spent an evening in his garage cutting foam, applying spray mount and going through enough duct tape to wrap a small planet. Ultimately, it created an incredibly tight fit and very responsive boat. No wasted energy when you go to throw your best freestyle move (even if that's just a solid window shade).

National Championships Day 1 Results at Kelly's Whitewater Park: Jackson Kayak - Today was day one of the Kelly's Whitewater Park 2011 National Championships. The event couldn't be going smoother with amazing vendors with espresso, to baked goods, to pizza, to bbq, you're never hungry and never satisfied as you want to try something else! Creeking Reborn Jackson Kayak - It had been some time since I last went creeking. I remember paddling the old Dagger Freefall, then the Gradient, and then the CFS. I was by far one of the extreme creekers out there, but had hurled myself off a few20-30 footers. I remember it being fun, and nerve racking! I fell away from creeking as I ended up moving away from a lot of the classic runs I use to live near by.

Michele Ramazza winner of the Extreme Sport Week downhill Teva Blog - Brandsethelva is a narrow river with crystal clear, blue water. The 500 meter long section where the competition took place holds many good spots for spectators to see fascinating and technical moves in the water. The river is characterised by being narrow and steep, which makes it a technically challenging river and very spectacular.

Of course, we at Team Pyranha are interested in the kayaking! Voss is a mecca for boating and is surely one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Team paddlers Timo Köster (Germany), Anton Immler (Sweden) and me (UK) headed out to Norway to sample some of those Norwegian classics.

World championship 2011 in Plattling Level 6 - Mondiaux 2011 : Plattling from Marlène Devillez on Vimeo. How could I describe the World Championships in Plattling with a few worlds ?! It's impossible ! It was simply magical… As soon as I got there on Saturday the 18, I put on my new Level Six Duchess dry top and I couldn't think of anything else but sail ! I discovered a fast hole, ideal for aerial moves and Mc Nasty. Everyone was taking a lot of pleasure, as well in the water as at the side.
