OKS Keener July 13 at the Gat
OKS Keener - Dear World, Today the Keeners took a trip to the Gatineau River in Quebec. The Gatineau was relatively similar to the Ottawa in terms of depth, temperature, and layout, but it was nice to see some new whitewater during the first session of Keeners. The day began early with a 6:30 wake up, and an ...

Level 6 Sjoa River Festival No.1
Level 6 - First update here live from the Sjoa River Festival 2011 in Sjoa, Norway. Yesterday the event took off with the Freestyle Competition on the epic Jolgen wave here. It was a 30 minute Jam Session scoring moves in three categories: Classic, biggest trick and biggest ride. This made it interesting to watch with a variety of big air moves and classics as the paddle spin.
Leif and Natalie Slave River!
Leif and Natalie - In the past we have never really done our trips up to the Slave River justice as far as posting on the blog goes. This time around we are going to do things a little differently. Instead of waiting until the end and then wading through thousands of photos we are going to add to this post our favor...
Astral Currently Worlds and the Life that Follows
Astral Currently - It has been an awesome summer and its only July. I have just gotten back to Salida, Colorado where the water is still raging and shows no sign of coming down. Just a week ago I was in Plattling, Germany competing in the Worlds for freestyle kayaking. I trained for this event since this time last year and rearranged my life so I could paddle as much as possible before the event.
Team LiquidLogic French kisses by the Guil
Team LiquidLogic - The Guil near to the durance-valley in France is one of the most beautiful rivers in the alps with everything a kayaker dreams of: Narrow rollercoster-parts with no eddys around Chateau Queras (in Germany we call it „Burggraben"); fair class IV-creeking in the „guardien angel gorge" and the never ending run across transparent waves and holes in the lower part. That´s what I heard about the Guil. But when I came there for the first time this summer it was even better. The bright blue sky, the clean green water and the rough landscape made me fell in love with the first moment we met the valley.
CKS Squad High Water on the Arkansas
CKS Squad - At the beginning of this summer, when everyone was feverishly claiming that this would be one of the years to look back on, one of the biggest years in Colorado's, and much of the west's history, I began to get psyched for my two week trip to the Arkansas River Valley. As expected the water ...

Seth Ashworth Wildalpen Freestyle Competition and Graz fun....
Seth Ashworth - When I moved to Austria I was pretty sure there were big mountains, everyone whore laderhousen, men had big beards and there was only creek boating. Since being here I have found that there is so much more to Austria than meets the eye, including not just enjoyable freestyle paddling but competitions as well. I only made this discovery when the campground next door to mine at World Championships had a whole bunch of Austrians move in.
Jackson Kayak 2011 Ottawa by Irish Dave!
Jackson Kayak - Dave Crerar. So it has been 5 awesome years working for Wilderness Tours and Ottawa Kayak School here on the Ottawa river. The Ottawa was my first stop when I first got to Canada and it has been my home away from home over the last few years I have been here in Canada. I can not stress enough the versatility, homeliness and the unique culture surrounding this river. Weather just heading to the Ottawa to paddle for a brief time or to start a career in the outdoor industry you would be hard pressed not to notice to close knit nature of the Ottawa Valley.
Team LiquidLogic Middle Feather 4th of July
Team LiquidLogic - Here are more photos from the Cali trip thus far. The day after getting off Big Kimshew we hustled over to Quincy, CA with our sights on some bigger water and the Middle Feather. This was an awesome way to spend our 4th of July. Even though non of us brought any fireworks there were plenty of American flag covered Budweiser cans to feel the holiday cheer.
