Trash Paddler Paddlin' in 2013 Adirondack Style
Trash Paddler - My first paddle of this very new year came about yesterday when I journeyed to Lake George (photo at left) in the Adirondack Region of New York State.
Dagger Blogs Fall reflection
Dagger Blogs - Although Winter has only just officially begun the snow and ice has long since shut off most of the flow to the rivers of the Northwest. This is an amazing time of year to to enjoy water in another form and watch the mountains replenish themselves for the season to come.
NC Paddle Surfer 7'4 Manatee First Surf Test
NC Paddle Surfer - Easy, super stable, catches everything. Paddles straight. Paddles fast and glides better than expected.
Jordan Searle Scouting and a High Water Kokatahi River
Jordan Searle - Just a quick update/trying to catch up on what we've been up to lately here on the West Coast. After numerous laps of the staple local runs such as the Crooked, Upper Kakapotahi and Styx, Barny and my hunger for new runs had taken over and we decided to check out a creek further up the coast from where we live.
Jackson Kayak The First Day of The New Paddling Season
Jackson Kayak - We get lots of weird looks driving west on I-70 with five kayaks on the roof of my truck. Many of the other vehicles have skis and snowboards and are headed to one of the many world class ski resorts Colorado is famous for. But this New Years Day we are headed to Shoshone, a class III section of the Colorado River.
SUP Magazine 2013 Standup World Tour and World Series Calendars Announced
SUP Magazine - As we look ahead to 2013, the New Year will bring most of the same events back, but with some changes and exciting developments making for the most groundbreaking year yet for this World Championship Tour.

Fat Paddler 2012 Top Ten Viewed Stories on Surfski Paddling
Fat Paddler - 2012 turned into the "Year of the Surfski" for many in Team Fat Paddler. My own journey started at "big fat guy trying to climb aboard and stay upright", through to developing a love of surf and competing in the World Surfski Series in Mauritius.
Log of Ibi Being Seen
Log of Ibi - Most of the time you don't want to be heard or seen, but there are times when life and limb demand that you are. By all accounts I've read on the subject, there appear to be two concerns on the St. Johns River with regards to airboats.
YakAngler Cow Tipping in The Chesapeake
YakAngler - All the recent hoopla in the Chesapeake Bay region of big cow stripers has had me chomping at the bit to get in on the action. Our last trip out to Plantation Light yielded miles and miles of paddling, but no fish.
International Rafting Federation Invite to New Event Testing At Lee Valley
International Rafting Federation - In late December Great Britain held their selections on the Olympic Lee Valley White Water Course in London.
Log of Ibi More St. Johns Details
Log of Ibi - The first post of the new year, and we're down to the last few days before setting off for the St. Johns River, in Florida.
YakAngler Ohero Carbonado Kayak Fishing Rod
YakAngler - As much as I love 7'6"and 8' spinning rods for flats fishing from my kayak, I've experienced two issues. The rod butts tend to get in the way when casting from a low seated position, and the leverage of the longer rod takes its toll on muscles and joints after hours of casting and "walking the dog" with a topwater plug.
Level 6 Paddling with The Manatees
Level 6 - The Manatee is an endangered species, with less than 2000 of these beautiful creatures in our North American waters. While November was manatee awareness month, in my opinion every month is Manatee awareness month (as well as all other marine life).
