Focus Sup Announces New Designs in 2013 SUP Magazine - The recent design collaboration with iconic North Shore surfboard designer/shaper Pat Rawson, Focus SUP designer Nitzan Benhaim and Focus team rider Mo Freitas has already produced results. World Class Academy GRG Blog - Blog post from one of the students from the World Class Kayak Academy who recently spent three months in Nepal. 2012 Top Ten Viewed Stories on Surfski Paddling Fat Paddler - 2012 turned into the "Year of the Surfski" for many in Team Fat Paddler. My own journey started at "big fat guy trying to climb aboard and stay upright", through to developing a love of surf and competing in the World Surfski Series in Mauritius. Being Seen Log of Ibi - Most of the time you don't want to be heard or seen, but there are times when life and limb demand that you are. By all accounts I've read on the subject, there appear to be two concerns on the St. Johns River with regards to airboats. Ohero Carbonado Kayak Fishing Rod YakAngler - As much as I love 7'6"and 8' spinning rods for flats fishing from my kayak, I've experienced two issues. The rod butts tend to get in the way when casting from a low seated position, and the leverage of the longer rod takes its toll on muscles and joints after hours of casting and "walking the dog" with a topwater plug. Paddling with The Manatees Level 6 - The Manatee is an endangered species, with less than 2000 of these beautiful creatures in our North American waters. While November was manatee awareness month, in my opinion every month is Manatee awareness month (as well as all other marine life).
