Canoe Kayak - Oru Kayak, which introduced its original 12-foot 'origami kayak' in 2012 with the most successful Kickstarter campaign in paddling history, is at it again.This morning the company opened a new Kickstarter campaign with a pair of 16-foot models aimed at serious sea kayakers, the Oru Coast and Oru Coast+. The Coast weighs 31 pounds, and the Coast+ 34 pounds. Both fold into the now-familiar suitcase configuration. When stowed, the boats look like a large artist's portfolio.

Drysuits and wet gear; hung haphazardly along each cabin's vestibule. Envision a friendly chat awaiting at each cabin's porch; usually with a few choices of poison flowing in the down time. Our dozen or so cabins nestled just on the edge of Terra nova National park transformed into this idyllic paddle community for the 14th annual retreat.

International Rafting Federation U19 Slovak Rafters competing at ERC 2015
International Rafting Federation - ​The U19 Slovak Men's team had their first big event at their home ground at the 2014 Euro Champs (R4 category), on the fantastic Čunovo course, where they won the silver in Slalom. Later that year, at the WRC R4 Brazil, they won 3rd place in the Slalom and 3rd Overall. A fantastic achievement for these young men. This young team will represent their country in Bosnia at the 2015 Euro Rafting Champs (ERC). Here it from the coach of the team here.
ICF Seven Countries Contested Slalom Ranking Race
ICF - The second ICF Ranking race of the season 2015 in Slovenia was held in Ljubljana - Tacen. The well known course with famous dam welcomed athletes from seven countries. The race was important for all Slovenian and Italian paddlers who had selection races during the weekend and were especially motivated to perform well on the Sava River. Slovenians took wins in all categories but one.
