Shane's Logic: The Molds For The Biscuits Have Arrived. So this is the Biscuit just before it was sent away to the mold maker. After a couple months of work by the mold makers the molds have come back to us ready to rock and roll. The whole Legacy team jumped in to get these things going fast. There is a lot to figure out to get a boat into production.

Werner: 1st Annual "paddle For Santa" Sup Challenge In Puerto Rico In conjunction with their national contest, the Puerto Rico Hobie Cat Association staged its first annual stand up paddleboard (SUP) race at Pine Grove beach in Carolina this past Sunday. An exciting finish inaugurated what everyone hopes will become a highly anticipated holiday event.

Conor's Antics: Jingle bells and all that jazz... Since getting off college on the 19th i've been getting out on the water at every opprotunity, nearly every second on average at this stage i would think. despite the lack of rain, i've managed to get out in quality surf 4 or 5 times with my new (and late- more of that later) lucifer surf boat, i got out on Curragower about 4 times and managed to make my way up to tuam hole for a cold but very good productive session.

Level 6 Blog: It's Been A While... - Tom Laws Since September and returning from my India trip I've been busy training to become a science teacher, meaning I've had to work extra hard just to get out on the water. Back at my Parent's house I managed a couple of days of biking before moving into my new gaff. The day I moved in, the river out the back was going mental. To you Canadians it might look tiny (it's really just a stream) but it's literally in my back garden. Taking a stroll about our new estate I discovered we also have a mighty playhole, good for spins, cleans, and a few careful blunts... not that that has stopped us trying for all sorts of other things. It's pretty shallow and gives us headaches! In the middle of my training I found time for a trip up to the Wet West Paddle Fest in Scotland. The party might have been a bit subdued this year, but the levels were great, and some hilarious boating ensued. Team Pyranha: Nc Holiday Update Since school let out for the holidays, I have thoroughly enjoyed myself paddling the steep whitewater of western NC and east TN. I was fortunate enough to paddle my favorite runs – the Raven Fork, Toxaway, and Cullasaja several times in the last month as well as spend time with the family.

Kayak Session: Peru Scout – Fall 2008 Continuing with the same style of rapids we reached the falls by early afternoon and four hours later we were billygoating faint trails into the inner canyon with our "expedition light" kit. Upon reaching the water we felt like two space travelers on another planet, no one but us in the heart of the deepest canyon in the world. Roaring Fork Kayakers: Rio Negro The rio negro is a very unknown river in southern Chile. Only a few groups have had the pleasure of getting on this one. It is a great little creek with tons of sweet boofs, good waterfalls, a stout 60 footer, and a couple sweet mini-gorges. We were grateful to be able to get on this one.

Paddling Instructor Blog: Paddle Canada Officially Developing A New National Canoeing Program Just got an email from the Paddle Canada Program Development Committee (I'm part of the Sea Kayaking PDC) with the official announcement that they are in the process of completely rewriting the canoeing program and hope to have it out to Paddle Canada instructors in March 2009.

Dash Point Pirate: Paddleboarder Rescue When the rescue crew arrived I overheard their conversation with the other kiteboarders on the fishing pier. The other kiteboarders insisted that the guy in the paddleboard would be OK and wouldn't need a rescue, despite the fact that by the time the crew arrived everyone had lost sight of him. He could have been blown all the way to Maury Island by then. They all wear drysuits but obviously don't carry VHF radios.
