in being a hemisphere away i think i'm usually the last to hear about new news. but, it looks like there are a few more folks on the team this year ---- heya, the more the merrier! round of applause, out of your seats for Mr. Scott Anderson and Ms. Cherie Bartozzi! i think Scott is the epitome of the Washington D.C. boating scene, in fact, if there were a Mr. Potomac Pageant, I think he would win.

Hi everyone! to kick off my blog for 09 I thought id share a few highlights fom 08. Surfing in Nosara Costa Rica. The waves were perfect and the weather was much better than in DC in March! I spent all of June in Colorado enjoying the biggest snow melt in 20 years. Every year paddlers from around the world converge on Colorado to compete, run the brown* and catch up with old friends .For the first 2 weeks I did a bunch of competitions, and ran many of the best rivers and creeks in the state.
