Playak: Sweden: The Kultsjöån The Kultsjöån looks like a rather lazy river for most of its way when you drive past but as you get closer to the put-in you will see some bigger drops. It is broad in places and this affords the paddler with a variety of interesting lines to choose from. You can run anything from two to maybe five or six smaller channels if you're up to it.

Dave Hoffman: Costa Rica Creeking The cold, harsh winds now blowing in Portland make me long for warmer days. I thought I'd throw up a few shots from last winter, when John Haddock and I had a blast in Costa Rica. Warm water, bright sun, steep creeks and endless jamon y quesos - life couldn't have been sweeter.

Adam Johnson: Chile Update 4 Of 4: Tour De Stout... Jared Seiler Running Princessa on the Gol Gol River.My final week in Chile proved to be one of the best sets of creek boating that I can remember. In three days, we ran the Middle Palguin Stout (~70'), the Gol Gol (with the 45' to finish), and Nilahue Falls (60' ramp drop). Not bad for 3 days.

Palm Blogs: The Mighty Mellte At last, Rain! It seemed like every boater and their mother was on the Mellte, South Wales at the weekend.

WWTCC: Rain Again! After a surprisingly busy & enjoyable day at work on Saturday I got the call from Jon Boy! The boys had made the drive to South Wales; the rivers even had some water in them! The Mellta was once again the goal for the day; we loaded up the boats and sped across England into Wales.

Small World Adventures: Rios Escondidos Baby! t was an action packed week of perfect creeking, high water river running, big wave surfing, and grand adventure.

I ve come to Cromwell like 5 days ago where I met three mates from Czech and one mate from US. We ve spent last week by working on Cherries or Wineyard and kayaking in afternoon. Awesome time.

Irish WW: The Clare Glens Invitational Race The first competitive Clare Glens Race will take place on Saturday, January 24th 2008. The concept is a core race, no frills - just friends out racing on Ireland's most exciting kayak run.This is all about the challenge of racing on the Glens in two separate events.

Liquid Medicine: Noerre Vorupoer A Dansih Surfing Gem Noerre Vorupoer is the southern neighbor of Klitmoelller and a famous surfer spot too. The perfect conditions should bw Swell from the southern directions. We had northern Swell, but even in those "bad " conditions it was one of our nicest surfing days.

DeRiemer Adventure Kayaking: Ecuador- We're Here Preparing For Our '09 Season Returning home in early December from our fall season in Bhutan, white water kayaking, padling, we did some quick visiting with friends and family before departing for Quito, Ecuador on Christmas day. Not long after our arrival, we traveled over the mountains to the east and the Quijos drainage, the starting point for our whitewater kayaking trips.

BRT Insights: Electra Run, Mokelumne River, Kayaking Class Ii, 18jan2009. Whitewater kayaking in California is great on a sunny, warm winter day. JimH, BobL, Matt and I kayaked the Electra Run on the Mokelumne River (Amador County, California, USA) at a flow of 450 cfs. At this flow the whitewater was good, especially for playboating at Green Wave. .
