It's an exciting time to be around paddlers in the Midwest, as spring was beginning to show its face. There was a sense of excitement in the crowd, knowing it would just be a matter of time before they were able to head out on the season's first paddle. That said, ice fisherman clung to what's left of the winter's freeze, and could be spotted dropping line from their shacks all weekend on nearby Madison lakes.

Congratulations to Michael for achieving 'member of the month' for March 2010! He joined the Adventure Club in the New Year after his first sea kayaking session with us over the Christmas holiday. Michael practiced his kayak safety skills at the indoor Pool course, whilst gaining experience on the Sunday sessions on the sea.

"It's true, we aren't close to the medals and we are struggling to have an Olympic ticket," Mr. Jung national team coach said, "But we will do our best."
