Pyranha: The Man from Everest paddles an Everest (Wednesday 17th) *** Daz has been paddling more years than we can remember and is the only kayaker to have paddled all main rivers that run from the highest mountain in the world. Jordan Searle: From Behind the Line - Upper Upper Perth (Monday 15th) *** Due to its wide flow range, open river character allowing complete scouting and portaging options and the plethora of fantastic whitewater it possess', the Perth River has always been known as a classic New Zealand helirun. Just Fluid: Horseshoe falls play-boat huck session (Thursday 18th) ** The Upper Elk is still too low to be running but Horsehshoe falls offers some fun play-boat boof action to keep us busy for a few hours. Kokatat Blog: Canoecopia 2010 – it's a wrap! (Thursday 18th) ** It's an exciting time to be around paddlers in the Midwest, as spring was beginning to show its face. There was a sense of excitement in the crowd, knowing it would just be a matter of time before they were able to head out on the season's first paddle. That said, ice fisherman clung to what's left of the winter's freeze, and could be spotted dropping line from their shacks all weekend on nearby Madison lakes. LVM TV: The Goldwheel (Tuesday 16th) ** Adam Goshorn sent this one in of Charlie Mix on LRC Falls. Beautifully executed back sweep bow initiation with the shoulder lead. Dagger Blogs: Dream Result Big Thumbs Up Review at Canoe & Kayak (Saturday 13th) ** If for some reason you've become jaded to high definition kayak movies since the fall of the Teton Gravity Research flicks, then I beg, no I plead, that you see Rush Sturges' and Tyler Bradt's Dream Result, already a winner of Germany's Rosenheim Kayaking Film Festival. Wavesport Blogs: Hurley's gone all Brazilian (Wednesday 17th) ** All of late we have been treated to the weir being on a very impressive level, with massive, green, curling shoulders and a nice deep pit, well for Hurley anyway! Luckily enough Ive been privileged enough to have the Wavesport Carbon Project on it and have been working on the consistency of my moves and making sure they score every time for competitions this year! Wavesport Blogs: Scudder Falls in NJ (Saturday 13th) ** Scudders is an awesome hole. It's great for every hole move especially window shades! The water temp isn't that cold and it's been sunny and in the 50's which has been so nice. I've gotten to meet a bunch of the local paddlers who are pretty funny guys and drink good beer. I met up with my buddy Craig and Jeremy who I haven't seen in awhile and we got to boat together. Down River Kayaks: Hard Core Class VI Flatwater!!! (Thursday 18th) ** There is magic in paddling flat water with loved ones. It's the river equivalent of driving through Kansas with your best friends. Ok, to be fair, Kansas is not anywhere as interesting as a river, but you get the analogy. The focus would certainly not be on the features of the endless flatness of I-70. Fluid Blog: Karma! (Monday 15th) ** The fire had only left metal, even the windscreen was melted down, well, you see the photos. The rock on the passenger's seat killed the thought of accident or self inflicted fire pretty quickly. In the car was my complete kayaking gear, boat, paddle, pretty much everything that I owned and couldn't fit into the daypack I was carrying. My whole life gone in an instant!
