Mt. Hood H2O Stebbins Creek: My nemesis
Mt. Hood H2O - I have been trying to get on this creek since my freshman year of high school. This was a creek that Nick and I were always talking about and was at the top of our list. For various reasons, from snow to being dragged to Canyon Cr WA instead, many factors kept us off Stebbins. When Nick left for college, I still tried to get on this run.
Immersion Research Alabama Awakening: Fall 2010
Immersion Research - The fall of 2010 has been especially dry in the southeastern United States, leaving boaters to rely on dam release runs we waiting for the rains to return. For north Alabama, the fall of 2010 has been the exact opposite of the fall of 2009. In 2009 the rains came back in force in mid September and provided consistent natural flow into early June 2010. However, at the end of the first week of June, things dried up and there have been very few natural flow events since… until this week!
Just Liquid Hot Chocolate Please
Just Liquid - A cold snowy paddle day on the Middle section of the Elk River, BC.
LL Ladies Lounge Thanksgiving Day Paddle
LL Ladies Lounge - Last week, I got to spend Thanksgiving with Josh's family in Bend. Fortunately (and unfortunatly) we were going home in the middle of the first big snow storm of the season. My sis and I followed eachother down hwy 197 and were confronted with some of the worst black ice I have ever driven on. UGH. I was convinced we were going to slide off the road several times. Felt great to hit snowpacked roads as opposed to ice. As we all know, nothing can help you with driving on ice....other than going SLOW. 5 hours of driving later and we were soaking in the hot tub while the snow fell....pretty awesome start to the holiday!

Jimbo Meador The Everglades
Jimbo Meador - I discovered the Everglades and the 10,000 Islands back in the nineties when I relocated to Florida from Vermont. I was soon to realize that there was so much more than just the swamps and alligators as many people tend to think coming from other parts of the country or even the world. Around the time when moving here I began kayaking. Being an avid fisherman I started using kayaks to get into areas that were not accessible by any other means to fish.
Sea Eagle Capturing America's Hidden Wilderness with a camera and a Sea Eagle FastTrack
Sea Eagle - People don't realize there are still areas where there's no civilization at all," says Brad Beaver. Brad's a professional photographer specializing in wildlife and nature photography. In particular, he's capturing the "unseen America" — the hidden, remote, pristine areas many miles from civilization.
sea kayaking dot net HD Footage: Deck-Mounted GoPro Camera While Surfing
sea kayaking dot net - Here's some truly nice footage (though the audio is distracting) shot with a GoPro HD camera of a skilled paddler in nice smooth surf on a grey and overcast day. What I like about the footage is its modesty: no self-aggrandizing rock beat, no pretentious opening titles. Just good footage pure and simple on a camera mounted high enough on the foredeck to provide a wide angle view of the action.
AS Watersports Making a Venture Kayaks Easky 15 pt 2
AS Watersports - Part 2 of the making of an Easky 15 touring kayak from Venture kayaks. The fitting out and final parts.
