Werner Werner Paddle's Team Paddle Nicole Mansfield, looking at the snow but dreaming about Chile
Werner - Currently sitting in Alta, UT not allowed outside of the building because of avalanche danger I look back on less than 2 weeks ago when fellow Pyranha/Werner team member Dave Fusilli and I were traveling around Chile. I had heard so much about Chilean whitewater that I was surprised when my experiences were better than expected. I loved it! We based out of Pucon, which is a kayaker's paradise surrounded by tons of quality rivers.
Immersion Research Chile Re-cap
Immersion Research - So, my trip to Chile was a huge success. I was there for five quick weeks that included kayaking almost every single day. I got on some of my favorite runs, some new ones, and lots of great waterfalls. I would have to say this was one of the best kayaking trips of have had to date. What made it so succesful was a motivated crew, like I said paddling everyday, and running almost everything in our path with very little problems and no injuries. I wanted to write this recap mainly to thank the good people at Immersion Research for making my trip much much more comfortable. Chile in November can be very cold, and very wet, and I will tell you it was.
Team Pyranha Palguin Boater Cross
Team Pyranha - Two days after Fran Kohn and I arrived in Chile, the Pucon River Fest was held. On the Saturday the Palguin Boater Cross was held on the Upper Palguin and organised by Ben of Kayak Chile. On the Sunday there were raft races held on the Rio Trancura.

A whole bunch of Ing's A road in the water? Paddling Morrisburg Ontario
A whole bunch of Ing's - Having been grounded for 3 days due to proper holiday etiquette/ my wife; I was happy to get back on the water for a great little paddle today. My original plan was to paddle to Crysler farm; an important major battle between the United States and Canada. Currently the battlefield is submerged due to the dams and locks along the St Lawrence. A Paddle over the historic site wasn't to be, but a great day paddle none the less.
paddling.net Deep Thoughts... on Depth Finders
paddling.net - How low can you go? Or, how low do you need to go? This is an important question you need to answer. If you don't need to see what's 1000 feet below you, they you can certainly save yourself some money. You did save the gift receipts for those much_appreciated_but_unwanted Christmas gifts, didn't you? Before we take the drill off the charger, let's ponder some options and then work backwards to determine what your needs/wants/limitations are.
SeaKayakPhoto.com Bowling down the Clyde in the Comet's wake
SeaKayakPhoto.com - From Erskine we crossed to the north bank of the Clyde yet again. In the mid distance, Dumbarton Rock stood out darkly against the snowy mountains of Argyll beyond.
