worldkayak blogs Hurley weir I hear you cry!
worldkayak blogs - Ok so waking up full of cold can only mean its time for one thing, fresh air! So I packed my man the hell up bag (consisting of asperin, energy drinks and extra caffeine) and hit the road.
Kokatat Blog Taylor Cote running Garganta del Diablo
Kokatat Blog - The weeks New River Academy spent in Chile were absolutely magical. We did many new and amazing things. One place in particular all of us students will have the greatest memories of has to be of the Rio Claro. Many of us accomplished many challenging sections of the river that previous groups had not.
PeakUK Steve Brooks - Review 2010
PeakUK - It has certainly been a great year Team Peak UK kayaker Steve Brooks. First take was way back in January where he arrived in Chile for a months kayaking mission. Hanging out with David Joos and his family (an old friend from way back in Peru) Steve managed to kayak some of the classic rivers around Pucon before heading down to Patagonia and the Futaleufu.

Kayak Yak A Quickie to Chatham
Kayak Yak - This morning it was -2 degrees, a bit of a step up from Saturday's -4. But while Saturday's weather was sunny and clear, today was unexpectedly cloudy which resulted in a wonderful sunrise as we prepped for launch. We also had a bit of a breeze, not enough to be a worry while paddling, but enough of one to add an extra chill to the morning. The sun was trying to burn through the clouds but didn't look like it was going to accomplish much in that regard.
Playak AIRE Cougar
Playak - Due to an overwhelming amount of customer requests, AIRE will be reproducing a limited run of 2011 Cougars. This cataraft was a true AIRE classic, which was discontinued sometime ago. The boaters have made their point clear and we need to give them what they want: The AIRE Cougar!
A whole bunch of Ing's Breaking the ice: With people and literally
A whole bunch of Ing's - Pushing off today was the longest time I've ever taken to launch, but well worth it. A older gentleman came by walking his dog and we struck up a great conversation. I had actually found someone who BELONGS to Petawawa! His family has been here before the base was even constructed. I had asked him if he knew what the steamship out on the island was named. Off the top of his head he couldn't remember, however invited me to his house after I was done my paddle where he would give me some info on the wreck.
