News Watch Headlines Eray hired as new Canoe Sprint High Performance Director Team USA - USA Canoe/Kayak is proud to announce the hire of Michele Eray as the new High Performance Director (HPD) for Canoe Sprint. Since 2013, Eray has served as the Sprint High Performance Manager for USA Canoe/Kayak, though beginning in 2015, she will assume her new role. As the Canoe Sprint HPD, she will be tasked with leading the National Governing Body's Sprint program, as well as identifying and fostering the development of 2020 and 2024 podium potential athletes. ISA World Championship Heading To Sayulita, Mexico In March 2015 SUPracer - After months of speculation we finally have confirmation: The 2015 ISA World Stand Up Paddle and Paddleboard Championship will be held in Sayulita, Mexico from the 22nd-29th March. Kieran Grant takes 1st Place at the Pacifico on the Comet ZXC Hovie SUP - Hovie SUP Comet ZXC takes 1st overall at the Pacifico sup race on St. Pete beach. Kieran Grant paddled a ZXC 12 6 x 26 to an overall victoey in the elite pro division sat. Hovie Sup's Fifteen year old Connor Rush took a strong feild that included Jeramie Vaine, Michael Tavares Justin Cook and others over the 4.5 mile ziz zag in and out of the surf bouy tech course. Shelby Taylor Bop Prep Vertical Oar - The time I spent in Southern California leading up to the Battle of the Paddle was one of the best and most rewarding months I have had so far.
