Kokatat Blog - What a start for the year! I've got an invitation to work on some guide training with Baja Outdoor Adventures in La Paz, Mexico. The weather in the UK was pretty dire, so to be in shorts and a t-shirt in warm waters within 12 hours was a real treat.

Hovie SUP - The Hovie SUP Comet race team had a great showing at the WPA Championships on Oct 25 - 26 2014 in St. Petersburg FL at the Sirata Beach Resort. With a national field of over 125 SUP paddlers and a perfectly run event, the racing came down to many near photo finishes. Hovie SUP team paddlers took four 1st place finishes, three 2nd place finishes and two 3rd place finishes.

This makes the big drops on the river much more accessible as they aren't running together, but the price is that the in between rapids entail quite a bit more boat abuse.
