Young Swedish Amateurs California update; first week in the wild west
Young Swedish Amateurs - After a couple of weeks in Australia, a epic trip thru Mexico, me and my buddy Simon started making our way up the coast from LA to paradise; northern Cali. It's not called the wild west for nothing, and the only word I can find to describe it, would be wild.. More stuff is coming, but here is a short edit from my first night hooking up with my boys Kevin Weasly and Mike Peacher, showing us how its done in the west
LiquidLore Furry Creek
LiquidLore - My first Furry Creek experience came one winter day last January or February after a big rain storm rolled through the city - after wimping out of running the Seymour at high water we decided to drive out the Sea to Sky and see what was up at Furry and Britannia. Furry was off the charts that day - but the seed was planted - it's a spectacular piece of river that needed to be ran once we could hit a good flow.
Wavesport Blogs June (video)
Wavesport Blogs - June has been busy, I've been working lots and any free time has been spent creeking with Kelsey Thompson as he films for his upcoming movie Locals Only. In the past couple of weeks we have paddled the Big Horn twice, Johnston's Canyon, Red Earth, the Elbow, Etherington Creek, Whatshan, St.Leon, Kuskunax, Pingston Creek and Sutherland Falls. All the good footage of me is being saved for the movie but here is some of the extra stuff I've picked up while playing around with the GoPro, it gives you a good idea of the stuff we've been getting up to.

Paddle Press International Canoe Federation: The 2010 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup Makes its Way to Augsburg
Paddle Press - The third 2010 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup will round up this year's competitions. A tough course, the stretch of water is swift and merciless and even the best of paddlers have to push beyond their limits. At the outset, the first gate at Augsburg is an upstream gate off the first drop, it's perfectly positioned along the right-hand wall and is ideal at fouling the unprepared and unlucky. In order to navigate this, the athlete must first achieve the right combination of speed and angle.

The action is inspiring stuff, where the Granite Steeps of Europe are captured with Dave Carroll, Matt Tidy & Rob Coffey doing what they love best, kayaking whilst revealing some of the stories behide their mishaps & motivations.
Shane's Logic First Descent of the Loop on the Youghiogheny River...on an SUP
Shane's Logic - I know I know, I used the oldest trick in the book to peak the interest. A typical Youtube attempt to lure you in with the title of the article. But I can promise you photos and videos of Andy and I crashing through the Loop section of the Youghiogheny. We did manage to stand up through most of it but there was a little action for sure. I just plain chickened out at Cucumber. I had a bad line going so I just knelt down so I wouldn't land on a rock from standing cause that would hurt. In fact I braced up off a rock at the bottom of the rapid while kneeling. Theres a pretty good shot of it in the video. Andy on the other hand tried to stick it standing and it looked like he had a shot at it... and then... he fell down.
USA Canoe/Kayak US Freestyle Kayak Team Trials Get Under Way, Few Surprises

They first stopped in Cape Town, then drove up to Jeffery's Bay and back stopping along the way for more surf action and then finally back to Cape Town. I managed to hook up with them and get a few sessions in.

P&H Paddlers Challenge, sponsers and training
P&H Paddlers - Last year I decided I wanted to challenge myself and I could remember seeing a programme about The Yukon River Quest. I knew that this certainly was a challenge and I decide almost immediately that I really wanted to have a go!
