2010 Promo Video Sweet - By the beginning of this summer I sat down for couple of days to put together my promo video. It includes footage from last two years spent kayaking in Central Europe, Norway, Nepal, New Zeland and all around the US and Canada.

Aldeyjarfoss adidas Sickline - So the last couple of days have been tough for the boys. We have finally had some good fun drops, but the impacts have still caused a few casualties. Over the past few days the height has ranged from 12m to 14m to 20m.

My Favourite River: The Lower Myrkdal Pyranha Team Van - As the levels drop down and the Upper Myrkdal become lower, it's a good time to hit the lower section. The lower is a much longer run than the upper, and certainly kept my adrenalin levels up high throughout the run: you get a 5m warm-up before heading straight into the sport, and it doesn't really let off until you get off.

Narrows! Front Range MANK Ross Herr - I was able to sneak away from the incoming tourism business for my yearly commute to the Poudre Canyon. Andrew Waters came out of retirement with vengeance and we tackled some awesome runs in two days. Monday morning we left eagle county at 7am with dreams of the Big South's beautiful views and awesome drops. We routed right through with a great dry hair day, and continued on through Spencer Heights thanks to the crew we met on the river.

Witte River – Fine Creek + Sunshine = Happy Days Adrian Tregoning - On the 9th of June a bunch of us were able to score the Witte in glorious sunshine. Because this river has its source only about 9 or 10 kilometres upstream of where we put in, the level drops fast once the rain stops and hence one usually has an overcast run. But not on that day!

Queen Qualifies for Semifinals in France USA Canoe/Kayak - Caroline Queen (Darnestown, Md.) advanced into Sunday's semifinal round in women's K-1 at the 2010 ICF Canoe Slalom Junior World Championships. The recent high school graduate fought back from a tough first run to finish 16th with a time of 121.84, 11.14 seconds behind the first place Clara Giai Pron of Italy.

Red Island Tony Paradise - Ralph, Stan and I came to Burgeo to take the ferry down the coast to Rose Blanche and paddle 100 plus kms back. We came 2 days early to do some paddling locally and on our first full day in Burgeo we decided to paddle east towards Red Island.

Sea Kayaking UK (NDK) Romany. In Review. KayakQuixotica - I've had the old white Romany for some time, but as I said it was not "my" boat so I rarely paddled it. In fact until recently the only time I paddled the Romany was when the local river was in flood. At those times I'd take the boat out to play in the currents and surf since I was not worried about banging it up. Now that I've repaired the hull and have it seaworthy again, I've been paddling it quite a bit which offers a great opportunity to share some fresh thoughts about the Romany in general.
