Jackson Kayak A Chronicle of My Favorite Orange Board Shorts- R.I.P.
Jackson Kayak - I never imagined writing about a pair of shorts. When I ripped through my favorite orange board shorts this summer, it occurred to me just how many adventures I have been on wearing them.

GRG Blog - As many of you know, after the earthquake we lost out hotel and office. Now, nearly 5 months on, and just as our season is about to begin we have found our new home.
Jackson Kayak Before Dawn Browns
Jackson Kayak - The river I fish mainly has depths of about 2-4 feet, but has several holes up to 20 feet deep. I consistently find most fish I catch will be just above these deep holes in the shallow fast water or shoals.
Lee Royle 7 – Cochamo
Lee Royle - Loading up we drove south towards the Rio Cochamo, hoping that as it was still November the water level would be good, as all the stories of people going in with low water later in the season sounded like hard work, and high water sounded a little scary.
Tsunami Rangers Spring Waters 2015 – A Sea Kayak in the Desert
Tsunami Rangers - Thanks to Rebekah Kakuk and Robert Kendall for being my travel buddies and helping with the photos. Sometimes we deviate from sea kayaking and wander into the desert.
Sportscene Czech paddler Jakob Adam wins Day 1 of the Green Kalahari Canoe Marathon
Sportscene - Fast flow, flat water and a few rapids marked the first day of the two-day Green Kalahari Canoe Marathon (GKCM). Four paddlers in a tight pack charged towards the finish with Czech marathon star Jakob Adam taking the Day 1 win. This race is staged in the Northern Cape on the Orange River, a region of contrast. Stark, rocky terrain marks the landscape away from the river, while an emerald swathe of grape vines follows the river's course.
Inflatable Kayaks & Packrafts At sea with the Seawave
Inflatable Kayaks & Packrafts - About a year ago that I did my epic run out to Bottle Island, just a stone's throw from Priest. We decide to motor off the peninsula, along the Wee Mad Road (WMR) and past Lochinver to Clashnessie – drum-crua Norse word meaning 'Battle of the Sea Monsters'. Here we paddled out towards the high arch before Point of Stoer and the beach at Culkein for lunch. Initially I had to deal with a mutinous crew – one of the perils of this type of close quarter marineering.
SUPboarder Geared up for White Water SUP
SUPboarder - As Autumn is around the corner and the rivers start to fill up, we can look to the moving waters for some SUP action. But remember it's not just about having enough water to paddle.
BC Wetcoast Glorious Fall Colors At Illal - September 13
BC Wetcoast - Wonderful fall colors at Illal Meadows this weekend. The meadows had been on my list of places to explore and a couple of weeks ago a paragliding friend confirmed that it was well worth a visit. Its a relatively quick hike in so carrying over-night gear was not much of a pain.
Distressed Mullet Ridiculously Awesome Rollerskate-Surfing on a Stand Up Paddle Board At Capitola
Distressed Mullet - This is a laugh out loud video about two grown men who try to wear roller skates while trying to Stand Up Paddle Board. What they get up to is amazing and the fact they manage to surf a little is unbelievable. The physics is all wrong but this video is so right. Enjoy, cause this is brilliant.
Will Herman The Meetings
Will Herman - The tides were wrong for the round trip, but a F4/5 northerly promised a fast run down the west coast of Walney, and so we headed up the channel on a rising tide, hoping by the time we reached The Meetings, there would be just sufficient water to sneak around the top no chance.
