Standup Journal Here's Your Guide To Becoming Sup Yoga Certified
Standup Journal - When I received my 200-hour RYT yoga certification earlier this year, I knew it was only a matter of time before I incorporated a SUP yoga certification into my repertoire. As an adamant lover of the sea since birth and a dedicated yogi since 2009, combining the two activities just made sense to me. I've surfed for over 15 years and informally paddled in bays and oceans in California, Hawaii, and Delaware, so I was eager to add a SUP yoga practice to my routine and then to be able to share it with others.

SUP for the Soul Testing Out The Hala Luya
SUP for the Soul - Here's a little clip from a trip down the Upper Colorado on the brand new Hala Yula from Hala Gear. This is a brand new board that's designed specifically for running rivers. I'm not a huge down river paddler, but I love to try out new boards and I thought I'd share this video as well as a few initial thoughts.

Canoe Kayak Remembering Boyce Greer
Canoe Kayak - If you love whitewater, you know she's a cruel bedfellow. She takes us to remote locales and rewards us with an unmatchable feeling of accomplishment. But when we make mistakes on the river, the consequences can be dire the penance for dancing with a partner so much more powerful than ourselves.
New England SUP Big and Bumpy
New England SUP - Windy and rainy, but not bad for the 1st of May. A few of the CCBC crew hit a local spot Saturday and it was going off. 1.5, 2x overhead. The wind and very shifty peaks made getting on one tough but when we did it was a wild ride.
Quickblade First Reviews – The Maunalua 26 Steering Paddle
Quickblade - A while back, Jimmy set out to make not just a steering paddle but a Quickblade Steering paddle. He tested and tested. He tried and tried to make one that was as versitle as anything currently available. We have been lucky to have a solid line of great outrigger paddles for many years but we have been missing that one key ingredient to the line the Steering paddle. After long hours of R and D he finally had one. We put in the hands many paddlers before anything was finalized and the result is a beautifully crafted paddle.
WatersEdge SUP Into the Blue – Demo Day
WatersEdge SUP - Tony at Into the Blue has been helping his community in Panama City Beach for that last three years through his board shop. After retiring, his plan was to head to the Caribbean, but he couldn't find a paddle board he liked – so he made his own. He made three boards and sold them all, so he made three more and they sold as well. His method wasn't exactly cost effective, so he began reaching out to local companies who could make the boards for him. He then started taking requests, creating different kinds of boards, and buying from other brands.
SUPboarder S T R a N G E – Fiona Wylde
SUPboarder - Life twists and turns and sometimes goes down paths you didn't expect to go down.  Young Fiona Wylde experienced just that this year, when she discovered she had Type 1 Diabetes and had to change her summer plans. A 'strange' summer for her but sounds like she's got it sorted and is now back on the water doing what she does best.
SUPracer Pioneering The Art of Stand Up Paddling in Mozambique?
SUPracer - Now Mozambique, Africa doesn't really spring to mind when you think of SUP meccas, in fact it's one of the last places you'd imagine the sport taking off. But it seems the country has a lot going for it: beautiful coastline, crystal clear waters, enthusiastic locals and a pioneering Californian named Tim Warner.
