Palm Blogs Norway (video)
Palm Blogs - As a prelude to an update coming very soon on our recent adventures in the far North of Norway I thought I would share this video with you. A tour through some of Norway's well known classics.
Wavesport Blogs How to: The Loop
Wavesport Blogs - Looping is one of those tricks that isn't all that technical, but it sure can be frustrating when you're trying to learn! It's one of the coolest feeling tricks out there and I'm psyched to be able to share it with you! The ideal place to learn to loop is a flat, deep hole.
Kayakpro Chile Video rio Turbio
Kayakpro Chile - Check out video rio Turbio!
Jackson Kayak Justin Kleberg's Silver Run
Jackson Kayak - My summer in wet, wild, and wonderful West Virginia has come to an end. After a few big water days on the lower Gauley, a solid month of low water video boating on the New River Gorge, and no time creeking in my Villain S, I am stoked to be returning to college at Western Carolina University.
Whitewater-Koa Mae Panning for gold
Whitewater-Koa - Back to Mae Pan Waterfall... This drop alone was the selling point for my trip to Thailand in 2007 With Sam And Will so the idea of a return visit was pretty cool! We got turned away a week ago due to low water but on this day it had come up a bit and although a bit low, it was going to be our only chance to get in on this trip.
Roaring Fork Kayakers Interior BC
Roaring Fork Kayakers - Recently Ive been paddling quite a bit actually. One of the better trips was a few weeks ago to Revelstoke, BC area. We left Bellingham around 9pm, and started the 7 hour drive to Revelstoke. We arrived at a makeshift campsite at around 4am. We slept, woke up and rallied the rest of the drive into Revelstoke.
PeakUK Lower Lech Gorge
PeakUK - With a short window to run due to the weather, river levels, left over snow and draconian regulations this section of the Lech is magnificent! In fact there are not many sections of river to rival it anywhere and the best bit of it all is that it is just 40 minutes from my house door (yeah you have to go over two mountain passes by car obviously and a couple of tricky bits where if a bus is coming the other way you are looking right down into the depths of the river) but it adds to the fun!
USA Canoe/Kayak Sprint Worlds Day Two Recap
USA Canoe/Kayak - Team USA's first medal of the 2010 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships was in Para-Canoe. Tami Hetke (Boulder Creek, Calif.), won the silver medal in the Women's LTA V-1 200m event on Friday.
Fat Paddler Bouncy Adventures off Middle Head
Fat Paddler - It was one of those days where the weather reports totally confused me as to the likely conditions. As I monitored the various forecast websites, I received a mix of reports ranging from "Seas under 1 metre, wind 15-20 knts" to "Seas up to 3 metres, winds 25-30knts, gusts 40% higher". At one end of the spectrum, a pretty flat calm day. At the other, a nasty messy windy storm front.
