Living in California I have seen this happen year after year. Kayakers come from Europe, New Zealand, Canada, and the South East every spring. 2013 Jessie Stone Kids Camp Jackson Kayak - Graham- Windham School in Hastings on the Hudson is home for over 130 kids who don't or can't live with their parents for a variety of reasons. Some at risk situations, some with troubled backgrounds, all of them real kids hoping for a better life. Assabet After The Fish Kill Trash Paddler - The Assabet River was in the news this week after hundreds of dead fish were found in the Stow section of the river last Saturday (7/20). Apparently they were victims of our recent heat wave and the unusually high water temperatures that resulted. Daniel Gentry enjoys exploring Mewstone paddling there after work, boy he definitely enjoyed it!! Winterton to Hants Harbour A whole bunch of Ing's - Exploration. The unknown. It's not what brought me into kayaking; but was the catalyst cementing my addiction. Launching out into unknown coastline was a great feeling. Winterton was quite the mirrored image of my last visit.
