Conditions were relatively light for this time of year, but better than predicted and they improved throughout the day making for some fast times. Interview with Alex Linnell on Missouri American Water 340 paddle race SUP Magazine - Alex Linnel looks forward for setting a milestone at MR340, which involves paddling a distance of 340 miles in 88 hours in roaring heat. This is the guy that first standup paddled the entire Mississippi River and set a world record in the process. He is confident he would conquer the MR340 marathon challenge. Paddle for the North Carolina Coastline SUP Magazine - Kacie Wallace and Kimberley Sutton launched their standup paddleboards on June 9, the day after World Oceans Day, with plans to paddle the length of the North Carolina coastline. Their mission, in partnership with the Ocean Recovery Alliance and YOLOboard, is "to make a positive change in the health of our oceans" by raising awareness and promoting positive action regarding plastics.
