While the other Potomac River Festival events went on as scheduled, organizers cancelled the race so friends and family could hold a memorial service on the Virginia side of the river... Voluntary Flow Program in Full Swing on The Arkansas River Playak - Local paddlers, visiting rafters, and fishermen can rest assured they will have water in the scenic Upper Arkansas River drainage for the remainder of the summer, despite lower reservoir levels. Mexico 2012 Part IV: The Upper Jalacingo Down Hill Kayaking - If you're wondering if there are still new rivers out there waiting to be discovered, consider the fact that paddlers only started exploring sections of the Rio Jalacingo in 2008 and a full top to bottom descent wasn't done until 2010.
