Lipno Devils extrem race - more images & video Peter Csonka - Lipno festival is the biggest kayak event in Czech republic. This small calm area became for one weekend a year overcrowded by kayakers and rafters from all around the europe. Lipno is small creek witch flows trough national park. There is not enough water for kayaking but once a year at the end of summer they release water form dam and this small creek became a wild river. You can find there many rapids, holes and jumps.

Haew Suwat Waterfall - the one that got away! Whitewater-Koa - I'm not really sure where to go with this post as it is one that I'm stoked about but on the other hand super gutted about. Basically my year has been plagued with various injuries which have kept me off the water a lot and just when things were going good it turned upside down again!

Storm at McCoys Rapid New River Academy - Here are a few shots from our session at McCoys. We had the unique opportunity to have a rain storm roll in right over us. The crazy part was that it was sunny and raining. Very cool!

Gales of Sept(Nov)ember Chicago Area Sea Kayakers Association - Thirty knot winds and waves over 10 feet before Labor Day? What a treat to Chicagoland paddling community; to us who usually see these kinds of conditions either in March or in November. When water or air or both are close to freezing, few venture out to test turbulent waters with their toes. Yesterday, when combined air-water temperatures are 140° it's a different matter.

South West Sea Kayaking Meet 2010 – thanks all! SW Sea Kayaking - Thanks to all who came along this weekend and participated – we had around eighty paddlers on the water. Thanks most of all to the numerous volunteers who helped run trips; the event hangs together by the thread of your generous assistance. Everyone I spoke to (and I've spoken to a lot of people this weekend…) enjoyed their paddle trips with you.
