Jackson Kayak 2010 Villain Promo: video
Jackson Kayak (Wednesday 22nd) *** - Here is an updated promo on the new Villain series.
Wavesport Blogs Gauley Day 1 - Footage from Pillow Rapid
Wavesport Blogs (Sunday 19th) *** - Although the web guy (me) found some carnage early myself just hiking down to Pillow rapid with a nice spill (and dirtying my new AT Paddles shirt) it was worth the hike as I found quite the party going on at the bottom. Here's a few uploads.
Wavesport Blogs More Project X Footage
Wavesport Blogs (Wednesday 22nd) ** - First live shots of the new Project X starting to roll in. Check out designer Robert Peerson surfing in the new Project X.
Playak Wavesport Project X 48
Playak (Sunday 19th) ** - The Project X represents a half-decade of freestyle research from the world's top kayak design team. We have truly discovered a new benchmark in paddler control both on waves and holes, with absolutely no sacrifices.
Roaring Fork Kayakers Ashlu Box Canyon and Browtin Lions
Roaring Fork Kayakers (Tuesday 21st) ** - Its a good feeling when a very large mountain lion right outside your tent leaves. This is how I felt on one of the nights me evan, and candace spent in BC. After an intense game of go fish, we finally settled down to sleep at our campsot near mamquam falls. I awoke in the night due to my gypsy therma-rest deflating. I lay awake listening to the BC wilderness outside. After laying for sometime I noticed very faint footsteps just a few feet away. My mind ran.... Bear, no the footsteps are too soft(but still sounded prominent).
Tomass Marnics GoPro - Russia & Iceland
Tomass Marnics (Tuesday 21st) ** - Nice video made by Sam Sutton. Enjoy!
Jackson Kayak Lachine ROCKS!
Jackson Kayak (Saturday 18th) ** - This summer was my first time surfing Lachine. I know crazy right, I have only been up on the Ottawa almost every summer since the early nineties. But yes, there is always a first and I am so happy I got to go surf Lachine, not only once but twice! Both times we got to take Nicks little brother Matty and he had an amazing time too!
A Wet State (CA) Video: Upper Cherry Creek
A Wet State (CA) (Monday 20th) ** - A California Classic and one of the best experiences of my life!
duemmstuff Czech championship Pilsen
duemmstuff (Sunday 19th) ** - We had last competition from Czcech CNAWR rodeo tour 2010 and Czech freestyle championship 2010.
New River Academy Lachine, an Ocean Wave in Montreal
New River Academy (Friday 17th) ** - Yesterday some of us from the New River Academy went to the Lachine Rapids in Montreal. The Lachine Rapids are a series of huge wave trains that flow through the center of Montreal. Being there is a strange experience because you are in this huge city on a huge river that has no business being there. The reason we were there wasn't to run the river however, it was to play.
Cumec Magazine Monday Morning Motivation - Sam Sutton and GoPro at the 2010 Teva Mountain Games
Cumec Magazine (Monday 20th) ** - The Teva Mountain Games are one of the biggest international extreme races in the World, and for the last two years Kiwi's have dominated the results in the steep creek race.
Jackson Kayak Nick Troutman 2010 in review with GoPro HD Hero: VIDEO
Jackson Kayak (Friday 17th) ** - Here is a quick little video of my 2010 year so far seen from the lens of my GoPro HD Hero. Everywhere from creeking in the South East, to surfing Glenwood on the USA tour, a couple runs in California, a couple of the big rapids on the Grand Canyon and some good ol' wave riding on Lachine and the Ottawa back up in canada on my home turf.
New River Academy Push the Button to Start the Garberator
New River Academy (Monday 20th) ** - This session has been amazing for the infamous Garberator wave and Push Button wave and hole. Garberator is massive wave on the Ottawa river that fortunatly enough has eddy access. It is rare to find a good wave without hiking every time to surf. That is why Garb is so awesome.
