Playak Independent Review: Windpaddle Cruiser Sail
Playak - The Windpaddle Cruiser is a pop-up sail designed for use on kayaks, canoes, sit-on-tops and other small watercrafts. Playak experimented with the Windpladdle Cruiser on kayaks and canoes in the wind on the channels and lakes in the Green Heart of Holland.
Down River Kayaks The Ten Stages of Low Water Grief
Down River Kayaks - September….my last paddle on my local river was back in July, a time I like to call, B.S. (Before Summer Sucked the Life Out of the River). It's especially bad here on the Rappahannock, but I've been living with this problem since I started paddling in New England. Summer, or as I like to call it, the "Worst Season EVER", has kicked the crap out of the clouds, essentially delivering a kick to their nuts that has left them impotent and without the ability to make rain.

Kokatat Blog Vada Expedition: Onto Lake Baikal
Kokatat Blog - We have followed every bend and curve of the Selenga, swiftly carrying us through Mongolia and into Russia's Siberia. En route we pulled into the city of Ulan-Ude. Home to 360 thousand people it is situated on the confluence of the Selenga and the Uda rivers. We exchanged our tent for a Soviet style hotel, and stored our canoes in the main lobby. We took to the town and enjoyed the various cafes, good food and a night at the local disco.
New Foundland Neil Kayaking in Croatia, Part 2
New Foundland Neil - Back in Croatia, paddling north up Stonski Kanal. Another calm and sunny day.
Adrian Tregoning Weskus – Wind Still Day in Solid Surf
Adrian Tregoning - It's Sunday 12 September 2010. I'm sitting at my laptop with my cat Cameo, on my lap. To my right the curtains are open and I can peer out to a cobalt blue sky with the mountains beaming out from a slight haze in the distance. The chimney cap is squeaking in the moderate south east wind which is blowing. It's not good enough for me to go windsurfing so today I won't be going out anywhere, but just chilling at home.
Paddling Instructor Blog Paddle in Norway without leaving your seat. [Video]
Paddling Instructor Blog - Norway has been on my top 5 countries to visit for a long time so I was pleased to discover that I could go paddling there (at least in my head) without the uncomfortable plane ride.
Kokatat Blog Facing the Wind: Sea Kayaking Argentina
Kokatat Blog - Mission accomplished! Last month we completed our project. It took some time, but the final goal has been achieved. We've finished not only because we collected so many donations for the indigenous Wichí people, but also because those donations made it to their final destination, Formosa, a province in the Northern tip of Argentina.
New Foundland Neil Kayaking in Croatia, June 2010, Part 1
New Foundland Neil - In early June, Ysabelle and I travelled to Croatia for a week-long kayak tour on the Mediterranean with Adriatic Kayak Tours. We chose their Paddling Dalmatia tour, which included boats and gear, a guide, meals, camping 3 nights and B&B accommodation for 4 nights.
